Headset not found in Synapse

Hello,

I just bought Razer BlackShark X v2 and Synapse doesn't seem to find them at all, registered product, updated drivers, repaired software, downloaded 7.1 Surround Sound, activated it, even PC just recognizes them as "Speakers (High Definition Audio)". Whatever I do, headset doesn't seem to apply in my Synapse, everything is connected to pc well, rebooted even a few times, nothing works so please help. I guess even I might be able to listen to my own voice in headset through mic in software, but even that's not possible as it just doesn't acknowledge the hardware.

Thank you 🙂

if that doesnt works u need to download Revo uninstaller this software will removed all razer remembrance. once its done, unplug ur BlacShark. and restart ur pc.

Once it's done, go to device manager - on top there is view tabs click on that and check show hidden devices

Click on Human Interface Device and uninstall anything related to BlackShark
Next, go to Sound Game and audio ( still on device manager )
Do the same thing uninstall anything related with the name BlackShark.
next restart your PC and then install Razer Synapse 3.0 once its done plug ur BlackShark and and synapse do the Job
last but not least is to restart ur PC again.

if all this troubleshoot still not help please PM this guy @Razer.Speedcr0ss @Razer.Zionzedd - they will gladly guide u for further step
You need to plug it in with the USB dongle and even then, only the dongle would show up and not the headphones. If even that doesn't work then perhaps you have a faulty one and should probably RMA it.

It is normal behavior. The BlackShark V2 X is an analog headset (uses a 3.5mm jack). The Razer Synapse 3.0 will only detect USB-enabled devices. You need to use the 7.1 Surround Sound or THX Spatial Audio (paid software) to utilize its Surround Sound feature. I’ll be locking this thread now.
