  1. I just bought a new Razer Ornata Chroma Destiny 2 Edition yesterday and just now my friend accidentally spilled a drink (fizzy drink) on the numpad. I unplugged the keyboard and began to swing it so the drink wouldn't go inside. Then, I tested the keyboard, and it went frenzy. So I plugged it of again and started to take of the keys. So washed it with water and swing it again to remove the excess water. Currently it is sitting on a rice bag to leave it dry overnight. If it still goes frenzy the next morning, any tips or tricks to solve this ? Please help, I just bought this and only had 1 day to use it.

You should kick that friend of yours lol. You should have let the Ornata unconnected and to dry out first before replug it again. Clean it softly with some alcohol wets and let it a bit to dry, and that rice thing is also good, i hope you get your keyboard back functionally and be careful with drinks around it.

WAT? Water can cause a corrosion on circuit board, you should never clean electronics with water.
Buy an isopropyl alcohol which is electronic friendly, and clean the keyboard with it.

You what?!?! Just like @FiszPL said that was the worst thing you could've done.

Anytime you spill into a keyboard you should unplug it, clean it with rubbing alcohol, either wipes or using q-tips, and then leave it unplugged with no power for at least 24-36 hours before attempting to let electricity flow through any of the circuits again.

I hope it all works out and everything works again!!

You can actually use water to clean electronics. Provided that you use deionized or distilled water and make sure that whatever electronic device you're going to clean is free of electricity.

If it doesn't work after a couple of days. I'd highly suggest you ask that friend for a replacement. Accident or not, it's still his/her responsibility.
