HELP!!! Unacceptable performance 2016 Blade 1060

So I've owned my late 2016 blade for over 2 years now. I really never played games with it as much as I intended to since I have an SLI desktop rig as well as my Xbox X which I use primarily (tbh). I don't think I've run a single game on my blade in at least over a year until the past month.

So I've been trying to play fortnite. My 6700hq gtx1060 blade is outputting an extremely disappointing FPS. It really only becomes playable at medium settings. The game runs extremely inconsistently. Sometimes I get 30-50fps avg on epic settings. I could never ever complete a play session at epic settings without a dip under 45fps. Yes I am playing in 1080p. I have tried everything including fresh install of fortnite, checking battery settings, making sure the game is running on the 1060, uninstall/reinstall of geforce experience, Razer bios update, windows updates, with/without razer cortex. Every single possible obvious settings check for nvidia control panel, windows, etc.

haven't tried with any other games because I do not play any other games. System still benchmarks at 9000-9100 firestrike scores.

I've tried everywhere. Razer support has been useless. They just told me to download cortex which I had already done. The Razer subreddit was not able to suggest anything that I had not already tried. PLEASE HELP I ONLY WANT TO PLAY THIS ONE GAME!!!

Did you also undervolting that? Try lower core voltage offset to -120mV, on Skylake I think you can go lower, it’ll increase the performance, make quiter fans noise and longer battery life. If you care about Firestrike, uninstall nvidia experience, I believe you’ll get extra 3 to 400 overall score. If your temperature still fine you can manually overclocking it per afterburner to have higher Firestrike score. For online gaming internet connection may also be the culprit of FPS drop or lag, it’s killer wireless right, try updating it as well.

The thing is my performance is so abysmal that an out of the box Blade would be completely blowing it out of the water. Not undervolted but performance is still atrocious compared to how it was when new. Network is also fine. No idea what could be causing this issue. Going to continue doing some more tests.

Which model out of box? I had this model too, but performance was addressed by BIOS Update. Out of the box Firestrike was also 9000 to 9100 overall. Forgot to mention, if you can access aspm on bios you should also turn it off, to increase the performance, other users are doing undervolting for increasing performance as well, it should hit around 9400 ish, with better gpu silicone lottery may be more.
