What version of Razer Synapse can I use with the Razer Kraken X (AUX version)?

You won't be needing Synapse if you have the AUX version of the Kraken X. That said, you will want to install the 7.1 Surround Sound app from here. PM me should you need further assistance.

Thanks for the info. Is there any software you would recommend for making the mic sound louder? I dont know what happened to my laptop that suddenly the mic volume got really low, I've checked all the settings on windows and nothing, I dont think its the headset becuase no matter what headphones I plugged in, the volume of the mic is really low. I've considered reseting my laptop to factory setting to see if that fixes it.

You may want to reinstall your laptop's audio drivers. If that doesn't help, there may be something wrong with the port itself.
