    Hi guys

Just downloaded patch 2.4.3 for Diablo 3 and noticed that, upon starting the game, my chroma settings were automatically adjusted to show red keys with white keys for action items. Pretty cool and unexpected. One issue though, it's my 2-5 keys that are highlighted white and not 1-4 as I would expect.

I'm running a V1 2016 Blade BTW. Anyone else find this hidden feature?

Gonna check it out. Downloading all new Battle.net patches now.

Actually, it's in the news about the patch. Screen Shot 2017-01-05 at 11.10.22.png

    And welcome to Insider, @DrKrac!

Thanks PTSinger. Not so hidden then obviously ;)/.Hopefully the issue with mismatched number keys will be sorted out. Its a very cool feature as cool downs are also reflected on the keys by lighting up and off.

Nothing happened for me. Bummer. Maybe it's because I'm playing on a Mac? I wonder if I have to do something in Synapse. I didn't find anything there, though.

Bummer. I didn't do anything to get it to work. And it over-rides any other settings I have so I can't even change the colours if I wanted to. I'll try to uninstall razer synapse and then reinstall to see if it fixes the issue.

Edit - Reinstalled Razer Synapse and the problem remains. Hopefully a short term bug.

OK, I see that it is an actual Razer supported Chroma app for Diablo 3 (it's listed along with other apps in Synapse). It only says Blade 4 supported though. I'm assuming that mine must be a Razer 3 so bad luck.

I wouldn't really call the Blade a peripheral, though, would you? The patch update states Razer peripherals.

I would check it out in Bootcamp (the only Battle.net game I have in Bootcamp is Overwatch, because that's the only one that doesn't run on Mac), but I don't have the space required. "Chroma Apps" aren't even available on Synapse for Mac, so it looks like no Diablo 3 with Chroma awesomeness for me.

Any word on whether or not the 2-5 being lit up instead of 1-4?

Still 2-5 being highlighted for me. Reported as a bug to the Synapse team, they have no resolution for me at this stage.

Hey Insiders, just to chime in here, the teams are aware about the 2-5 being lit up instead of 1-4. Glad that our fans are enjoying the little treat we've gotten with the latest Diablo 3 patch :)

For those who can't get it to work, when it should - patch notes say that you may need a firmware upgrade for your device.
Unfortunately you need to contact Razer support to get a firmware update (I don't think Synapse updates peripherals, at least it did not do it for my DA'13).

I recently bought the Tartarus Chroma and the Diablo 3 chroma app doesn't work on that peripheral. I read in the description that it is compatible but the lighting effects don't change. The firmware upgrade option could be the solution...I'm stuck here

As I said - contact the support directly and ask for a firmware update.

its nice that the chroma app now support D3 but I still highly prefer my own lighting set up as I can put color code on the hot keys =D I saw the bug as well. I just turn off the app since it interfere with my own key settings on my Naga Chroma Mouse >.<

I haven't had any programs work with my Orbweaver yet - and I suspect it's because every single key is usually set individually by the user and not using a pre-set key setting. They wouldn't have a clue as to what your keys are programmed to, what is the 1-4 keys, etc.

I noticed that my keyboard turned red and the 1-4 was highlighted a few weeks back when the new season started, but the issue I was having back then was that as soon as I pressed a key they all started flashing and going crazy, it was very distracting and I spent hours trying to figure it out to no avail. I eventually made a Diablo 3 specific profile on my keyboard where the "default" was just solid red to begin with so if it started flickering and going crazy I couldn't tell because it just flickered between red, and well, red. lol

I just got back to Diablo 3 and its first time i use the game with my Razer Blade 2016, and indeed, the 2-5 keys light instead of 1-4, even if you try to remap them.
Its a pain in the ass. Anyone got around this ?

Hello there, any news on this from the razer team ? Thanks!

I found the integration here - with the cooldowns and other effects (like in overwatch) to be really awesome, I am however experiencing this same bug. If you are like me this will drive you a bit mad so you may want to go back to standard synapse. The only workaround I have found was to go into the D3prefs.txt file and change 'disablechromaeffects' from 0 to 1 then save the file. This stops the override and lets you use whatever synapse settings you have set up. I play with just 1-4 q i and s lit up right now.

I've got the same issue with the 2016 Blade and D3. You don't need to edit prefs files, etc. to turn off the Chroma Apps effects if you're running Synapse. Just launch Synapse-->Chroma Apps-->Rt. Click Diablo-->Disable

Note: I plugged in my Black Widow to my Blade and the mapping 1-4 is correct. Clearly, someone who made the keymap for the Blade was offset by one key. I hope they fix it!

I e-mailed them about a firmware update: they replied that there aren't any firmware updates specifically for the Diablo 3 Chroma App. Not sure if they meant that for the BWCS or Naga Epic Chroma, as that's what I was using.
