I was wondering how Razer peeps hold their mice. For the Naga, I have a palm/claw grip hybrid, but for the Diamondback, I use a weird grip, which is oddly comfortable... As you people out there who hold only 2 fingers on their mice, I hold 3, and my thumb and pinkie wrap around the LED strip.

Most times I use palm grip on my Razer mice, as the Mamba, Deathadder and Naga seem to work best with it

A Mamba and a DA? Yes, me, the guy who buys Razer mice and keyboards just to display them on shelves asks it..

Please no... I'd rather not be associated with such an individual.

    Hey cool thread AlKiRi
Just a suggestion though, maybe allow us to choose more than one poll answer? Like you, my grip changes depending on the mouse I'm using. I go between palm and claw. I have 3 fingers on the side when I use the DeathAdder.

Also, this chart by Razer might be helpful:

I'm the bear type and Deathadder is quite comfortable for my hand size.

I always rest as much of my hand on the mouse as possible, so I guess I would be a bear type grip? I try to get the upper part of my palm onto the mouse if it's a small one, but at home I have my whole hand on it.

Ooh actually just noticed this, but I go finger tip for small mice. I guess it just depends on my mood and how lazy I am.

I think most people using the deathadder use a hybrid grip style between the palm and claw, just how the mouse is built makes it easier to grip it like that. But then again, its for medium to large hand sizes so your mileage may vary.

i mostly use telepathy to control my mouse. the force works too but response time is poor for me

Too many milliseconds? Try a wired connection next time :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

OP, thanks for opening this thread!

My favorite grip is fingertip grip, but I can only do that if the mouse is light enough with a structured grip. I'm a high-sense gamer who LOVES lifting the mouse and swiping (without moving my arm--just keep it on the table). Maybe this is why I have carpal-tunnel :hmm:

I play this way because I grew up without a lot of space to move my mouse :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Currently, I am using Naga Hex as my mouse. The weight and the grips on the side cause me to hold the mouse in a modified claw/palm grip. When I try to pick up the mouse, I tend to hit "3" and "6" unless I bow my fingers in very carefully, but this causes fatigue.

I purchased an Orochi. First impressions: I love how light the mouse is without batteries and would consider using it as a wired at-home mouse. However, I did purchase the mouse to use as a wireless on-the-go mouse so, we'll see. Without batteries, fingertip grip is perfect; with batteries, I need to use claw/palm.

Lastly, my "claw" isn't centered. I tend to grip the mouse with the fleshy thumb-palm (no clue the actual term for this part of the hand). I've noticed that I tend to invert my hand when using the mouse. You can tell I do this because of the angled slope of the feet on my Naga. The inner feet are shorter than the outer feet.
  15. Claw for mice that are a good size for me. The only mouse I don't claw is the Deathadder. The arch is quite high and not my style.

My hand size is medium/small so high arched mice and large mice in general aren't my preferred mice.

Palm/claw when necessary on my Naga Epic, and full palm on my MX Master.

Practice young padawan. Telepathy is the force, when mastered.
