How many RMAs have you guys had to do?

    Hey All

    I'm on the fence about buying a Razer Blade 1060. The forums and YouTube are full of horror stories. What's your experience with it?

    Absolutely brilliant and stunning piece of technology. No issues apart from the shitty wifi card which I swapped out for an intel one and have had no problems ever

    I went ahead and ordered. All the razer peripherals I've owned have never let me down. Hoping this laptop won't either.

    Every item I've gotten hasn't ever been a disappointment. The only time I was worried about one of their products when the enter key on the number pad on my Blackwidow X popped off when it came, however I was able to put it back in its place and it never happened again.

    been using razer products for 4 years now, tried bunch of stuff, only mano'war's headband broke after 6 months, gave it back, 2 days later they sent me new version with enhanced headband that never broke, i'm happy

    I have a razer blade, a razer kraken, a razer kraken chroma usb, a razer deathstalker, a razer taipan, a razer mamba, a razer ornata and i have yet to have to do a RMA or a refund. I think of them as a reputable brand.

    I'm up to three, now (well, two RMAs and a retail exchange, but broke is broke). I've been buying Razer products since they were Karna, and I've definitely experienced a higher-than-normal failure rate over the past two years.

    As far as RMAs go -
    1) Razer BlackWidow X TE - a couple of the key backlights stopped working properly.
    2) Razer Core V1 - because USB. Well documented design flaw...
    3) Razer Kiyo - Half of the ring-light quit working after about an hour, and shortly thereafter the bottom fifth of the camera image started glitching out. (Purchased through Amazon, who will cross-ship exchanges, so not an RMA - and much more efficient.)

    Overall I'm very pleased with my Razer gear when it works, but at this point I honestly expect that I have a 50/50 shot at needing to RMA new purchases before I get something that isn't otherwise broken. :/

    I have my 4th or 5th RBP since last May (stopped counting) and I having another repair now, because of further major issues with the input devices and my power button. I am a very patient person...:rolleyes:

    I have an old (old? more like three years old) Razer Blade, and lots of peripherals, only troubles encountered were with the infamous Nabu that went twice in RMA (but would've been at least four times in one year if I wasn't lazy and didn't send it back everytime it broke) as well as my orbweaver with the known palm rest issue. In both cases it is more a common design fault that happened to everyone and not only to unlucky ones, not a production fault.
