Whelp, we will see whats up in the next few days are so, I believe the sale might be postponed due to the fact that 2 of their prototypes were stolen. They will probably need to work on that issue 1st. No point of shouting out more ideas and putting out disagreements, I'm sure razer team or somewhat has a plenty of good and fair ones to considered by now or soon or later. After CES ends, the date for the sale comes in pretty quickly and its usually really soon, so let's just wait quietly and see what happens.

In the last sales done, i always managed to get 1 product (even last year i didn´t have any issues to make my purchase, came at the hour, loaded without problems and bought without issues) So i think that if they do it like last year, by time periods for the different regions, it should be fine :D also sending the codes to each one who has a razer product registered should avoid some botters and such.

    Greetings ~

Yeah, as i've read somhewhat often here, it could be connected to synapse, your account here and the actual usage of one of the products.

So I've never bought anything in one of these sales. How does it work do they give you a code via email or is it announced way or just before? Or just launched with no notice?

I just want to get a decent price on a blade stealth, but I also planned on grabbing a Ripsaw & Sieren popfilter/shockmount.

Stupid Razer... making me want all the things

Kind of hope it is going to take them a while to send out the codes, Since it seems like the Ornata is gone out of stock again.

They usually open a "code request" phase (dunno if it will be the same this time, they are discussing and thinking about it) and then they say when the sale takes place.

Once its open, you go to the shop, pick your product and use the discount code you got, but obviously you have to be fast to get the thing you want.

    Greetings ~

They can do it like OnePlus maybe. Pull from their server accounts and send codes. Even though it rules me out because I now linked my account with the community here
  10. I think send out emails to any Razor accounts that were created at least 1 week before the sale and active within the last 6 months should be sufficient to reward actual customers and keep scalper numbers down. Then maybe a 24 period at the end of the sale for anyone who isn't active to try and grab some items. That way loyal/active fans have a chance to buy what they want first but still gives people who aren't so active but still big fans a chance too.

I think anything locking people who don't have active razor accounts out completely is unfair as many people buy the gear, love the brand and company but never sign up for an account. Hell I've only just bothered activating my synapse account and I've had multiple razor products for years.

I feel a lot of people are making the assumption that just because you can't afford Razer, you aren't a fan. I feel that's a little unfair, you can totally still support Razer even if you can't afford their gear!

Following social media, sharing posts, voting at CES, recommending to friends etc.

Long before I got my first Razer product I was pushing it like crazy to people coming into the electronics store I worked at! I was following news on the company and keeping myself updated on their products. I was doing what I could to promote a brand I truly believed in.

It wasn't the moment I went out and purchased the Diamondback 3G, that I became an "actual fan," I already was a huge fan before that and I was just doing what I could at the time to support them.

How to prove that, though, unless people can go back and find all of those previous posts, and show that it is continuous support, etc? Product registration on Synapse, registration on Razer Insider (along with post count over duration), not sure if they have records of this but date of follows on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram . . . these things are more tangible and able to be somewhat quantified.

An series of selfies with @Min-Liang Tan. That would show some fandom of the man, if not the brand.

Yeah I understand all that, I just hope they take it into consideration. Maybe by implementing a secondary draw for a set number of people who applied but don't necessarily meet their standards for automatic entry to the sale. I just hate the idea of people missing out because someone suggested you have to own a product to be a fan!

It's the big guy who makes the brand as great as it is!

Lol yeah... the selfies would minimize the "fan count" drastically. But it wouldn't be a good company strategy to keep the circle very small. Why? Because it won't open the doors for first time buyers... I own Razer products for about 11 years (Started with the Diamondback) and I don't have a high post count, neither I'm for very long on here... I did just buy my Razer Blade a week ago and I'm lookinf forward to spend money on a new mouse and keyboard also - so yes, I'm a fan and would love the benefit of this sale.

How about the people who actually made the win possible, people who voted and have no account.

I think all these ideas are very implementable. A combination of several of these criteria would allow more people to participate in the sales.

I like a product selfie idea with S/N to prove you own at least one product. Then for others a post count on here as well. Just would love to upgrade my lycosa keyboard so bad to a Blackwidow chroma
