For now Quad core would be enough. Also, what bottlenecks GPUs is the single core performance .
Yeah, cause I did a lot of thinking on it. But that doesn't mean I am right either.
And in case of dGPU, they are most likely to put a RX 550 M (something like that, though it doesn't exist) or let the CPU do the graphics itself.
This are all just theories my friend, no supporting evidence or technology to prove it
True. To be honest, the idea was spinning in my mind. And I do believe that now or then Razer can pull this off.
Actually, there are some problems with this idea. Such as -
1. It requires (quite) impossible engineering.
2. It will spark up the price
3. Thermal issues
4. Compatibility issues
5. May damage the product in future
And there may be other issues too. But that'll depend on the total engineering, software and quality.
Just as plausible as having a 8-core Kaby Lake even discounting the fact it doesn't and won't exist since Skylake-X is the 6 cores and over branding and Kaby Lake-X is still 4.
The technologies dont even exist currently in the commercial area, how do you think razer can even do it?
Good luck getting that in there, imagine the heat produced...
I can imagine if somehow someone managed to build it, which i doubt no one will, the user will be carrying an ultra book with a huge cooler in the bag pack to cool it and a big power supply to power all the unncessary equipment.
Reminds me of an invention in Japan where, a guy owns a small phone but a ridiculously huge battery in his bag pack that is constantly give power to the phone
No longer the Razer blade stealth
It would be called...
The Razer blade here i am
I know it's all just a stupid idea. But I think its still possible.
Its not stupid. Its only not possible
You only think that because you really don't grasp the basics of engineering or logic for that matter.
For once someone making sense instead of cents
It will be possible eventually. Just not anytime soon. But by that time desktop CPU's will be even more powerful. Laptops will always fall behind on performance unless they somehow manage develop perfect cooling in a compact space without diminishing returns.
It is. If there is nothing wrong with having external GPU then there should be nothing wrong having external quad-core CPU, RAM, memory and entire stationary computer.
just look at the 8350, i5 with 4 cores still beat it at the time
Then I will keep the Octa core idea aside for now. A Quad/Hexa core i7 should be enough, specially for RBS
Thats called a desktop
I can give you a better idea.
Get a wireless mouse. Connect it to an external CPU, external motherboard and external graphics card. Then add external monitor and external keyboard. Also add external speakers and external webcam if you wish
So your saying, in recap..
there is a chance i will get a razer branded USB cannon?
