I turned off my razer blade 15 and left it to charge. Is there any indicator that it is charging?

The Blade 14 (2017) [RZ09-01953] has an indicator LED on the front right corner of the chassis that changes based on battery level and power state. For instance, in standby I get an intermittent white. Low battery (I couldn’t tell you what Razer decided to set that at, as it wouldn’t be relevant here anyway) gives a Red of course. During bootloader startup it’s green, and turns off once that’s complete (so not very long at all). While charging it will be another intermittent on/off cycle but green, only if not in use. If the display is on, and desktop active (no screensaver state), it won’t light up but it will if the display is on but in a screensaver state.
This is all based on a different model of course, so check your documentation for specifics like the location or if you even have one of these indicators. If you don’t suspect something is currently faulty, there is no reason for you to believe it isn’t charging. One tried and true test that cannot tell a lie is if that tiny overworked power adapter isn’t the slightest bit warm to the touch, then your machine isn’t receiving power. 😉

The laptop charges even if its turned off, but I don't see any indicator on the laptop that it is charging when turned off and I'm wondering if that is the same for all razer products. Thanks anyway!:smile_:
Okay, I understand. I never even thought of it because mine gets treated more as a desktop unfortunately so it's plugged in and running more often than not ☉ ‿ ⚆, and since you mention it mine doesn't give any indication that it's charging when powered off. This actually is part of the reason I came to the forums recently, in search of solutions to a worn cable for that overworked power adapter.
P.S. take care of the power adapter cable that DOESN'T break-away, that's where they get ya of course 😉

Thanks for the tip on the power adapter! And yeah, there seems to be no indication that it is charging. I was thinking that the light on the right side will lit up, but it didn't.
