Dear all,

I hope this finds you well.

i have a trouble with my 3 months old Huntsman. The right Control key is always on red color. (although it is functional)

What i tried so far:

  • With Quick Effects I applied Ripple, Rainbow effect, but i noticed that the CTRL button only shows shades of red (deep red, orange etc)
  • Resetting keyboard (unplug it, holding esc-caps-spaces) it did the reset, but the CTRL button is still red
  • Through Chroma Studio, i tied that key to a different color and transparent static, but nothing.

Can it be burned? is there anyway to fix it?
OR
How Can i turn off the light for the CTRL key completely?

Thank you very much!

To turn off completely, you'll have to do a custom Chroma Profile and just turn backlight on that key.
If I were you, I'd RMA the keyboard, because LED can be faulty.
I've started a ticket, but no response. Extremely unhappy with the design of this thing, the lack of ability for the end user to properly reset the device to defaults makes it entirely useless if the profile becomes corrupt (as it seems mine is). Very disappointed in the self-help options and the response time of support (for a company large enough to provide 24/7 support, they are surely not responding timely to me).
