Huntsman Elite & using the Multimedia key function: MUTE MIC

Hello,

I just bought the Huntsman Elite. Seems nice.
The number one reason I purchased it was for the Mic Mute function which doesn't seem to exist in Windows natively.

I have updated Synapse and am running 3.5.730.72314
I decided to reassign the Skip ahead button to Mute mic. Save.
I tested it and it doesn't do anything. If I bind something else to the button such as Mute Sound, it works.

Any ideas?

I'm running a Sound Blaster AE-9 with an Audio-Technica AT2020 XLR mic.

Thanks for your help, in advance!

So, one day this just started working and has never glitched since.
If anyone is still curious, the mute mic feature basically takes control of your default communications device, so make sure whichever output your mic, its set to default. The mute and mic volume can be controller directly then through windows (but make sure synapse is open or else it won't work)

Um just some interesting info if you're curious, the Kraken 7.1 V2 model has an option where you can mute your mic just by pressing it, the mic from the headphones. It's not muting the whole sound from your system, only what you input. I find it a great feature and i'm using it a lot. And btw newer Kraken models should have it i believe, didn't checked.
