I quite enjoy classical and the heavier end of the metal spectrum, I've been listening to both for ever.

Hardly a classic(1970). But seeing as how the original song was a piano instrumental, not enough people listen to this masterpiece on piano. Sounds amazing in person.

I enjoy listening to classical occasionally, but usually I'll listen to soundtracks (games or movies) and jazz. Jazz is what usually motivates me to get stuff done, or not.

really enjoy classical music. I think is the base, the concrete of all others type of music.
listen to Epica, a band that mix lots of genre and also some classical melodies.

I enjoy classical music. However, I'm another investment pleyer here. I have played piano off and on for about 30yrs. (though, only with about 5yrs formal instruction) I also played flute for about 15yrs, I haven't really picked it up since my kids were really young. While I do enjoy traditional classical music, I also love listening to music only soundtracks from operas. Most notably Barber of Seville, Carmen, Madame Butterfly, The Magic Flute and The Marriage of Figaro.

We have always had a love of music in our family: my brother played bassoon, played in Carnegie Hall twice before college and eventually went to college on a full ride bassoon scholarship. Now my youngest son is in a charter school that specializes in music. Four days a week they have a music class (music history/theory, piano lessons, orchestra/band depending on instrument and vocal lessons), then for one day they have PE. My oldest son enjoys playing guitar, both accustic & electric.

So, then, I imagine it won't be surprising when I say we all also love playing video games such as Rock Band, Guitar Hero & Sing Star.

Like Michael.2090, it's not my first choice in music. You will not find me listening to classical music during a micro-intensive fight battle in-game. However, I enjoyed listening to classical music while I was in college doing homework.

Nice. I listen to classical music everywhere. I listen to quiet chamber music when going to bed.

I enjoy listening to classical music as well. A composer that hasn't been mentioned, that I believe deserves his fair share of acknowledgement, is Chopin. His music is some of my favorite, as well as some of the most popular, well-known classical compositions, and rightfully so.

I also enjoy other composers as well, if not more, such as J.S. Bach himself, some of his sons (C.P.E. Bach, W.F. Bach, who is the composer of a piece I am learning now, along with 26 other children. Yes, Bach had 28 children.) and also his wives. (He had two spouses.)

    My two cents,
