    Hi Razer,

since you forced this account down my throat I will use said account to tell you that after using your products for about 12 years I'm out. What compelled you guys to not give me an option to use your software without an account and internet connection.

Do whatever you want with this post, I'm done, gonna return the mouse tomorrow!

Really? I used my deathadder and lycosa for many years without needing a synapse account. I got one anyway to have on the fly DPI settings. I know you need synapse to set up chroma stuff and already had an account when i upgraded to a blackwidow chroma, but didnt realise things just wouldnt work without an account.

That being said if having an account to use things is a deal breaker for you, get used to lots of disappointments in this day and age.

So wait you just posted this for attention. You do realize razer states that you need an account and you need to be online inorder to use some of the features in their peripherals. Next time bother reading the product page.

Welcome to Insider, even if You_dont_want_that_Account!

First of all dude, no one forced anything down your throat. Razer states plain and simple on their product pages and packaging that their peripherals require Razer Synapse and an Internet Connection.

Second, after installing Synapse, you can always just switch into Offline Mode, which allows you to do exactly what you said you couldn't - using the software without an internet connection.

Third, you can still technically use Razer mice and keyboards without Synapse or an Internet connection. They still function like perfectly fine office equipment. It's just that you wont get all the bells and whistles if you don't sign up.

I get the frustration about needing to sign up for so much crap these days, but trust me, this one's worth it.

    Truth.

I'm thinking that the fellow members have responded similarly to what I would've said, and I just can't see this going any further with a positive tone or covering any new information. Therefore I'm going to go ahead and lock it up, but I won't be deleting anything so that the initial poster will still be able to see the very valid responses that have been posted.

    Have a great day guys!
