I was talking about K/M and controller cross platform.

I suppose I mentioned Razer, being the one company I use for my K/M and Controller other than Steam.

This was a conversation I was having (my side) start with FF14 changing their combat systems, leading into cross platforming K/M with Controller in online multiplayer games. I the idea is that games could offer characters the require either K/M or controller. Yes it's a pay wall, though to provide the best experience to the players.

{I wish they'd do something more active, for the player to be involved. I don't mean every class, so you could play mages relaxed like. Thought the tough tank or Damage dealers could have a different real time combat, with skills to get them up for special moves.
I think part of the problem is, it's easier to have one control type on PC. So if they make it K/M then everything has to be that, with support for controller. Less risky that way. Though if there were classes to use controller and ones to use what ever they wanted, then they could make different combat styles class based.
On Steam they can require people to own a Steam controller, to play the classes that require it. People would say that's bull and don't like that. But instead of a pay wall, this is a play style that requires different controller so it's really not bull. So many developers can do that, just it's way to risky for them to think of control styles as cross platform.
It'd be like overwatch for example. You have melee characters and ranged characters. Say a few of their characters would be best with controller. They can sell them on K/M though people who use controller have a advantage, so there are complaints it's not fair. But their defense is, the character is more fun with controller. Why stop their players from having fun in the game, due to how they play.
Melee characters reacting defensively, with shield or mobility makes them harder to aim at. But they have a harder time aiming at characters, while using controller. So there must be a middle ground to make this fair. I can play melee with controller to reach to being kited, where being able to aim better is the balance for ranged using K/M.
Someday I want Razer to make a online mutliplayer like that. They sell both K/M and controller. And I think if they are able to make K/M bundled with Controller for a decent price, it'll be a good sales point. Though less of a sales point and more of a hard development line they are able to cross.}

This may not be clear, so if you have questions, I will try to clarify the point for you. The reason I think Razer would be good for this, is ONE Razer Synapse and two they are already offering industry leading products and working on firmwire for potential industry standards to be met.
