I wish I knew about Synapse before buying Razer products

It seems like this is a common issue, but Synapse 3 fails to launch. Yes I updated, everything except Alexa and the couple of apps that don't apply to my setup. Yes I repaired the install, twice. Yes I disabled my defender and anti-virus. Still nothing. And these seem to be the only fixes that are out there. I bought a Basilisk and I have a Huntsman Elite being delivered tomorrow. These products came strongly recommended and it's disappointing that for two hours after I opened the box for my mouse I've been searching for a solution. I'd rather not go through the hassle of returning everything but I feel like I was misled. I suppose my question is, do I really *need* Synapse? I guess I'm fine with the default colors on the mouse and I guess I don't really need my keyboard to do anything besides function?
