Insider and Flash Sales

    Been updated by my team that the CES Appreciation Remedial Sale and the Nabu X Sales went on smoothly with minimal server down time and the process went well.

    In light of this, it's likely we'll still continue to run Insider exclusive deals though the bar for participation will be moved up - i.e. it might be 8 posts today to qualify to purchase the Nabu X at launch, we may move it up to 50 posts or perhaps some other metric - however, it will still be based on participation (and constructive/positive participation).

    Please continue to help/welcome the new entrants to the forum and do actively educate them on the official/unofficial house rules as well as educate them on how we run the flash sales etc!

    That's a great idea! I can't wait to see what comes next!
    The only thing I'm still wondering about would be the status of the Sponsored Streamer Program and how it works.

    Went smooth as silk for me. I even noticed I put the wrong state and contacted razer store support, and they corrected it. My Nabu X is already shipped and I was able to access the store page for the whole duration of the last wave. Very happy with the increased performance in light of the CES sale.

    Maybe take away the number 50? Otherwise some might spam towards that in "panic-mode". - But you and your team spent more time thinking about this than me, so I guess it´s not picked randomly - maybe there´s a Razer Social Media Psychology Staff Member behind this stuff :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

    The sales is great and awesome! Would like to see more great sale coming up exclusively for the insider and yes to rank up the qualifying to participate in the sale.

    1. The true insider rather than those that come just to grab the item will have better chances to get them.
    2. Less participants (considering each sale have lots of people that com just for the sake of the sale) means less burden on ur server = better sale experience for us insider.
    3. Guess people will appreciate the sale more since its exclusive for the member.

    Flash sales? Does Razer hold additional massively discounted sale throughout the year? Also got my BWU Classic yesterday from the CES sale... looooooving it

  15. The servers seemed to do very well for both the remedial sale and the second wave of Nabu X. My first experience was the CES sale and I figured that every special event would have overwhelming (server crashing) interest. Really glad everything went smoothly the last two times. Great work responding to customer demand.

    Thanks Razer. Really stands by the company motto. By Gamers For Gamers. Just purchased my 3rd Razer product, Kraken, and it's totally awesome. Waiting for Razer Nabu X to join the family :)

    Unofficial house rules -love it haha.
    Comparing to the first registration intook part in (wave 2 for Nabu), last Nabu X sale went fantastic. No slow downs, no problems at all - i ordered mine via mobile and still managed to get one, i was sure I'm gonna smash my phone in frustration lol.

  19. I have to just say that the servers preformed wonderfully during the CES remedial sale as well as during the Nabu X waves. I was seriously expecting to lose my sanity based on their previous performance, but leave it to Razer to perfect even that! Everything went insanely smooth. And given all the spammers lately, your positive participation addendum is much needed and appreciated. Thanks Razer staff!!

    It's quite obvious that the staff is paying attention to the forums and that you are completely on top of how things are running. It's really nice to be able to work so closely with staff and the CEO of a company in such a public fashion. It obviously shows you care about what we all think and how we respond. I can't wait to see what the future holds!
