  1. what happened? your order got cancelled? its hard for razer to sell at the same price as other retailers, cause other retailers might want to clear out their stocks and sell them for cheaper prices

    optimal idea! less people = less confusion!
    it's good that people that help a littel bit can have access as a rewards to this kind of sales and others things. meritocracy for the win!

    I really like this idea! Not as much people joining insider just for sales anymore.

    So, what do u guys think it should be the 'metric' to have access to this sales?

    Actually, I also think the number of posts is not very important, but mb the quality! However, that wouldn't be easy to evaluate...

    basically, the TL; DR version of it: my order mysteriosly got cancelled by Razer Store. They want me to place a new order, which I can't do because the CES sale codes don't work anymore. When I email them, they tell me they can't process discounts given by other retailers. WTF??

    Thanks a lot Razer, I got my Blackwidow Chroma Stealth in the remedial sale without any problems and I'm liking it a lot! It's a good method to apply a slightly higher standard to future sales. However, I would argue to not set the bar this high. There are enough people out there that are fan of the Razer brand but don't have the time to spend every day writing posts on a forum.

    I would also like to say thanks to Razer for the remedial sale. Couldn't be happier with my latest purchase.

    I strongly believe that while Razer and other brands, eg Corsair may difer in quality and services, having a better customer relations will be more important. At this rate, I'm advertising for razer by my word since it feels like the company do care.

    As written in the future of CES sales, the downtime was non existing and all well prepared people I know got the item of their choice within 30 secs, before it sold out. So the split definitely worked! The only bummer was that certain items couldn't be restocked, but that is understandable :)

    Enjoying my BWCS a lot(can't imagine how loud the normal one is though).

    As for future sales, though hard to quantify, a number of posts is still not useful since they could be relatively useless posts. I'd say take the date of the posts into account. Like 50 posts up until the announcement of the sale. This will prevent the flooding and spamming of the forum with useless posts and people trying to get in the sale. Also it would encourage people to stick around and be active, in preparation of a future sale.

    Last but not least, removing the cooldown on /amount of reports one can do. I tried to report all spammers I saw, but was hindered by both.

    the insider forum was lag when the registration just opened but other than that everything was fine.. =)

    Gad to see that things went smoothly the second time around. Raising the bar to qualify for sales is an interesting idea, hopefully you find a way to do so that encourages participation with the community versus something as arbitrary as the number of posts in the forums. Else we will see a deluge of new account posting of nothing in order to qualify.

    Sounds like a really nice idea :D
    But i think you should stick to the Nabu X system, so make the sale number for NA/EU/ASIA seperate, not global like the CES Sale ^^ Because the CES sale was very stressfull for me, I had to stay up until 3AM in my Timezone and at the Nabu X Sale i could just get up early at 8AM and there were no server downtimes so its also less stressful for your Servers if you seperate Sales like this ^^

    It's really nice to see that the founder of such an amazing company cares about the fans and community members. :)
