[Insider] CES 2016 Appreciation Event

    Just got my new Mamba 2015 from the Razer CES 2016 appreciation event where it was 50% off. First impressions: Doesn't feel as good as the old 2012 mamba, its heavier and shorter. However, the software works better w/this new edition and the lighting is really nice. The sensor is improved from the 2012 edition and finally, the ability to change the tension for the mouse buttons is a welcomed addition. Unfortunately the battery can no longer be changed out, we'll see if that matters long term or not.

    Will do a video review of Razer 2015 vs 2012 vs Logitech G602 in a week or two.

    Really good CES sale, i taken the Razer Nabu :) (and next year maybe the leviathan mini or one good mechanic keyboard chroma)

    Oh nooooo. The battery isn't replaceable anymore? My Ouroboros battery died in about 2 years and the mouse became unusable but the battery was super easy to replace - just pop in a rechargeable AA eneloop. I'm upgrading to a Mamba too :slightly_sad:

    I apologize for any mistakes English is not my native language.
    And here is my short story with Razer's sale CES 2016. I was working and I had just a phone to shopping. Shortly before 10am (sale in the Europe) I added BlackWidow Chroma Stealth to the basket and copied my discount code. About 10 added code and wow! the price decreased. Quickly completed the data for shipment and chose PayPal payment. In PP page I had error occurred payments ( :frown_: ) and returned to the Razer page. I tried to buy again, but appeared inscription - Your code has already been redeemed. OK I did not care too much because I thought, just finish the payment later. After returning home I checked the order, I had an order number and status "Order Pending Payment " wanted to finish the payment, and here the first surprise - there is no such a button! In most stores where I bought there was an option to complete order. I wrote to RazerStore support with my problem. Second surprise came on Monday with the standard response to ordered again (sic!). I wrote I could not use the code again and only wants to complete the order, because I have an order number, etc. The answer came on Wednesday once again to the standard that "The CES 50% discount code is no longer valid.We regret for any inconveniences on your side. We do receive many feedback regarding similar issue and Razer is always working towards improving its service for customers."
    Yesterday came the final answer " When you placed your order via PayPal, you should be redirected to your PayPal account to authorize the charge.
    Thank you for your time and support. Normally in such situation you will have to place a new order but in your case even if we provide you with a new code it will be not accepted because the CES promotion has already ended."

    I don't understand why Razer don't have the option to complete payment?
    I have the order number, in the basket keyboard have the price reduced. Why I can't transfer money by Paypal/Bank transfer quoting the title of no. order or a similar option.
    I was disappointed and rather I do not buy BlackWidow for the full price, because price is too high. In the last year they had similar problems and just see how they work on improving their service o_O -better generate next numbers of empty orders.

    Yep. To have only one single option that is also almost the most expensive one that even exists truly sucks.

    Still fighting for my order. Placed it fine and the order got canceled for no reason a bit more than a week ago. Contacted support and was told that they can't replicate the issue and to reorder it. When I asked again about the 50% off was told that it only took place during the sale. Just going around in circles and when it takes a rep more than 4 days to reply.... Sucks. Even tried calling
