    Give it a minimum limit, like you have to be a 'Member' instead of a 'New member' and then applying this formula should give decent numbers and if they are contributing well then they will have a good value on the result.
    Tweaking is always good :D

    I'm pretty sure Razer will figure something out... they're good at that.

  4. Good job Razer! The only minus of that feature is that people like me don't benefit from this offers because Razer don't have razerstore in their countries. :slightly_sad:(

    Just amazing! with this people will be motivated to participate here :D but like for example, Supercilex said, lets hope that this doesn´t bring spam to us D:

    I know how you feel, same here, we have resellers here though but the products get way more expensive that way... Anyway I am building my Razer collection piece by piece importing, going to the US to bring some, finding a great offer from the resellers, now I can say I have a pretty big collection, I can only imagine if I lived on the US :D... But cheer up man they are giving us this opportunity and creating a way to gather most of their fans they can including other methods of entry, heck the products count is not even in yet!

    It'll be good when the proper points systems comes in instead of number of posts!

    Definitely liking the rewards! Although I hope you can pick how you want the rewards to be shown. I prefer descending rather than ascending for the points xD.

    I was inspired by your post to draft something up...

    Here is the executable jar file and source code (pls don't steal, yes, I did make this myself (just look at how horribly coded this is)) (Disclaimer: I am in no way responsible for the damage caused by the horrible code) (No. This is not a virus. Look at the source code and compile the source code yourself if you so wish): http://1drv.ms/1EeWE3d

    The main thing that should be tweaked on this would be the curve. Exponential, logarithmic, etc.

    Here are some results for some people in the house (as of 18April2015):
    @kajira: 6.1946147699566625
    @Mapsle: 5.905591251778654
    @NazgulStig: 5.323115730151723
    @CruderMax: 4.543383064013977
    @Destrok: 4.5670876661687405
    @njbmartin: 4.339416067871229
    @Lafar: 4.009208385865954

    Algorithm (Sorry for all the magic numbers):
    Natural Log of {[(CubeRootOfAverageNumberOfCommentsPerThread + (NumberOfFollowers*1.5) + NumberOfMessages + NumberOfThreads) ] / [ (NumbersOfPosts/NumberOfLikes)*2]}

    EDIT: Version 3 is uploaded.
    Changelog: User inputs their profile URL and the number of comments on each thread is automatically retrieved. All a user needs to do now is simply insert the link to a profile.
    TODO: Beautify code.

    I think I'm done with this... v3 will be the last.

    Hmmm, interesting. (I haven't checked the code yet) I notice you have given some weight to NumberofFollowers which I think is pointless because not many people follow others and following doesn't bring anything to the table other than newsfeeds. Rest all seems ok to me :D

    I've been following this, and I really can't wait to see where this ends up in a year or more. Such a great plan and a great idea. You all give back to the community so much, and it's all truly appreciated. :)

    This is awesome! The only problem is Razerstore in Malaysia. The shipping cost way to expensive to justify the price even if i get the discounts, its still expensive. Any solutions to solve shipping methods in Malaysia like what you guys do in US (free shipping under certain conditions)?

    Great! Would love to get that necklace, looks amazing!

  19. I agree with Lafar. Although this is a great way to start a Beta to gauge interest and use, it may be better to find some way of judging contribution. The current program pushes sheer number of comments. So I can comment 100 times today and be good to go for top level rewards.
    However, I do not know about the formula:
    For several reasons. Mostly because it puts way to much science into the art of participation in a community. When participation comes in so many forms it is hard to attribute preference of one over the other.
    I do not have an alternative in mind. The more I think about it, the more I like the original "number of posts" qualification.
