Intel Integrated Graphics Limiting External Display Refresh Rate

Hello everyone,

I have run into a unique issue that I have exhausted my know how to solve. Any help would be appreciated.

What is going on:
The HDMI port on my Razer Blade (2018) does not support higher refresh rates than 50hz for my 3440x1440 monitor. Some simple research shows that the port just does not have the bandwidth for higher refresh rates. So, I bought a Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort cable to utilize the Tunderbolt 3 capability of my Razer Blade to use higher refresh rates. Though the refresh rate is higher, it does not go beyond 100hz when my monitor is cable of 144hz. Further research shows that the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 does not support the 3440x1440 resolution of my external monitor at 144hz and since the integrated graphics and dedicated graphics (GTX 1070 Max-Q) are linked together in the laptop the integrated graphics is limiting the refresh rate of my external monitor despite the fact that the dedicated graphics does support it. How can I resolve this issue? I have done hours of research without any luck in finding someone with a similar issue as mine or a solution to my problem.

Before you ask/post:
Yes, the Thunderbolt 3 port has the bandwidth to support 3440x1440 at 144hz.
Yes, the Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort cable supports 3440x1440 at 144hz.
Though true that my GTX 1070 Max-Q will struggle to saturate that many frames per second for most games, there are some it can do that with and I would like a smoother desktop experience on top of that.

My thanks in advance to those that help,
Vatruvius
