So you are saying if i use my razer laptop, my 2 razer mice, my 2 razer keyboards, and my 2 razer headsets I could possibly get zsilver faster and then get more razer stuff? Im down with that lol.

I think that wouldn't change much. A lot of people have at least one Razer product (mouse or keyboard). It doesn't stop people vom selling it on ebay or complaining.

If you change a Paid to Play program not in favour of the consumer you gonna get complaints.

I see where they're coming from with that logic but I don't think that's a good idea. If actual Razer fans already have a ton of Razer stuff, they're still going to sell their new free merchandise because they already own it. Either way people are going to sell Razer stuff on ebay whether they're a Razer fan or not. I'm trying to collect Zsilver to earn my first Razer gear cause I'm poor >.< and I'm sure there are others like me.

I´m using Razer Cortex everyday since you announced via facebook that the mug will maybe be available via ZSilver (which was in March) and right now I´ve got about 155k (-100k for the mug) and that´s for free.

Now that you changed the paid to play system I downloaded Starcraft and Dota to get the 900coins everyday, but it isn´t that much fun then before. I´ve owned so much Razer products so I won´t have a problem with this change.

But I would really like to get ZSilver for games I like to play :/ If I play about 8 hours league of legends I have fun, but before I´ve also got ZSilver so a loss was at least rewarded with awesome Razer Stuff :)

Anyway I would also like if more products get into the ZSilver store (Specially the Base Station chroma and the Razer Chroma HDK) !

Just continue creating great stuff for gamers :)

A real Razer fan would never sell a Razer Product. All my friends recommended to sell the mug but I would never do that !

Not a fan, as an owner carcharias headset arctosa keyboard and lachesis mouse, which are not compatible with the synapse as far as I know.

i disagree with you, actual razer fans who already have ton of razer stuff will feel like their fanaticism is paid off... it's means they can replace their old razer with the new one without paid high price, or they can use their zsilver to give other's razer gear as birthday gift so that other's can start collecting zsilver and earn by themself....

yes maybe there are some who will sell it on ebay, but i think that some is not much as the one who really a fans...

I dont agree. You created this for people that cant afford a razer gear, even if it is the cheapest one. If you do that, the people that always wanted a razer item but cant afford it, wont be able to get it for free, just paying shipping. I understand the way that when you are giving a chance to get something for just playing and SOME people just blame everything or sell it. There will be always many people being negative about every single thing in this world (Youtube cat videos, for example, have negatives, and who search cat videos if you dont like them?).

I dont think it will work as you think, just people that ALREADY HAVE razer gear will have the chance to...have more Razer gear? I dont like how it sounds.

By the way, I have Blackwidow Chroma V2 and Mamba TE 2015, so I would be able to still be in the group that would be able to use paid to play.

The idea is definitely better but it shouldnt be focused towards owning more Razer gear gives you more benefits. That way people would be outright discouraged from even entering the system. I think people who own any of the qualified Razer gear should be allowed in the system and the rest should just have a lesser version of Paid to Play. That would incentivize owning Razer gear cause it leads to owning even more Razer gear and it would still allow those who dont have Razer gear to work up to some.

It would also stop scalpers and other ebay sellers since people with a mindset of earning more zSilver would work towards owning a Razer peripheral first and then would prioritize earning towards other rewards, which is something scalpers wouldnt want to invest into since they lose out on zSilver that they need for the initial investment. Whereas gamers would happily invest in a new mouse or keyboard etc since it improves their gaming experience while earning them even more gear.

In my opinion that's very fair idea. I think it will be more profitable for Razer and for us. Razer will save some products (and money) for fans that want to keep those products and fans that are not thinking about selling them. So for example Razer mug would probably be still available, because true fans who already own Razer product wouldn't seel it for crazy price, they would most likely use it.

Overall great idea. And Mr.Min if I can suggest something, your Facebook fan who wrote to you should get a reward :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I personally am not a fan of the new payed to play system because I play a lot of Overwatch. I feel like maybe voting for a game that gets added or gets x2 xp would be a better idea so everyone benefits from it.
I am already a huge razer fan and have a large amount of respect for the company, btw. Waiting for my Chroma mug to get here. (Family is bringing it from the states.)

Limiting the games that give out bonuses seems a little dumb if you ask me.
At the very least, all current eSports should always reward zSilver.
So basically, keep stuff like Overwatch, LoL, Dota2, Hearthstone, etc. out if the rotation thing and have them always reward zSilver, but rotate single player games and games that are not eSports such as GTA, WoW, etc.
    What do you think, Min?

Ya, actual razer fans should be the only ones getting rewarded by razer anyway since it is a razer "loyalty" program.

To me, the only actual razer fans are the ones who actually use razer products. Not some dude with a K70 or a G810.

And since synapse can detect it, those people should be eliminated from the program completely, and if they don't like it let them eat cake.

More zsilver and prizes for the rest of us who are true disciples.

Anything automated is going to have some type of abuses associated with it. The ideal way is a verification system like having all eligible accounts connected to a payment system (verified Paypal, etc.). That ensures it's 1 person and not multiple accounts farming, plus you have a source to contact if anything seems to be being abused. And requiring at least 1 Razer product is fine.

You'd have to be more specific about the full extent of the issues you believe exist if you want more solutions though. You keep on bringing up complainers/haters but don't ban them from participating and then want the rest of us to do something about it. It's not exactly reasonable. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Well razer can do something about it themselves now.

Kick their butts right outta the program and let them watch with their noses pressed up against the window while the rest of us reap the benefits of loyalty.

i think if you wanted to go that route, you would need to introduce a super budget line of razer products to expand that reach of "true" razer fans. like $20 "essential mice and keyboards". i think razer already faces an identity problem of being too pricey and cutting off a free rewards program, unless you already own the gear, wouldn't help.

One suggestion i would pass along is upping the discounts on zSilver reward coupons. The max is $20 off, but i regularly see store promos and discount codes for that much already. What's the incentive to install a monitoring program to earn rewards points for a promo that is often just free?

I'm not some altruistic, "share the wealth" hippie, and I can admit it. That's why I was troll like in this thread

I wanted my game to stay in the rotation and I was looking out for my own self interest and didn't want Razer to revert back to the old system.

If owning and using Razer products gives me an edge over other people, then I'm taking it.

It's a dog eat dog world.

Besides it'll benefit the true Razer fans anyway. It'll trim down the numbers of users leaving more zsilver to be distributed to the rest of us without killing Razer's bottom line.

Not to mention that fact that people are going to abuse the system regardless (ie. AFKing, its too tempting not to because its so easy, let's be real here), you might as well trim it down to the people who actually purchase and use Razer products at least they gave Razer something (ie. money) in return.

Those Logitech and corsair users that don't even use razer products are getting a free ride at our expense and don't even give anything back (ie. again, money), and I'm positive that they contributed to Razer changing the paid to play program hurting the rest of us in the process.

Since they're the ones swelling the numbers of users that made the old system unpalatable to Razer to sustain.

They want their cake and eat it to.

Plus they take every opportunity to bash Razer whenever they can.

So cut them right outta the picture. Kick their butts right back to the corsair and Logitech paid to play programs. (Oops! I forgot, those companies don't have one.)

Teach them a lesson I say.

Maybe with them out of the picture, Razer can keep the old system, leaving in StarCraft 2 of course! o_O, and blend it in with the new system since you won't have those Logitech and corsair leeches bleeding Razer dry.

Another good side effect for Razer is that it'll force corsair and Logitech users to purchase and use Razer products if they want to participate in the program hurting corsair and Logitech in the process.

I'm sure Razer wouldn't mind that.

You know the old Japanese saying:

    Business is war!

I love this idea! I think you should give boosts for each product that a customer owns. If a person owns a laptop they can get more of a boost that people who own mouses and keyboards.

I feel like it would be horrible to alienate Razer fans who can't afford even their first product, that is the point of the system after all, to give people a free way to earn products.
However it would also be nice to award loyal paying fans with more, so they can afford the exclusive products.

Perhaps an extra daily bonus per piece of hardware registered in Synapse (currently plugged in? To prevent people from buying->linking->selling). This would mean people who own products (whether paid for or earned through Paid To Play) would get more zSilver, making it easier to get even more products, or save up for the exclusives.

Edit: How would you register products like Mousemats, bungees, headphone stands, etc.? I own some products that I have either replaced (Kraken Pro vs Kraken 7.1 Chroma) Or are broken (Tiamat 7.1, Blackwidow Ultimate)

I do also have my own suggestion thread here about improving paid-to-play by allowing fans to earn zSilver by playing any game, though at a reduced rate. The majority of complaints are about people not liking any of the 5 games in the rotation, this would fix those complaints.
