I support this idea. the only thing not Razer at this point is my case.
I would like to add razer cortex to the possibility of synchronizing accounts with games Blizzard, Origin, Uplay, PSN or Xbox live.
Since we got 50 zsilver account for steam connection.
A Twitch and Youtube account would also be appreciated
What a great idea! I think that all the complains or the majority of them come from people who is not interested in having some gears for playing but for selling them. Its sad because your service is giving the opportuinity of getting free stuff just for playing games. There is a lot of profiteers out there and this is a way to solve this problem. Also maybe you should make the rule that only one gear can be redeemed via zSilver every year or something like that.
I like the idea, and would suggest that the increase be somewhere along the lines of an inverse exponential function as peripherals owned increases, as that would still allow those who don't have a lot of razer peripherals to still be capable of getting razer products, as was originally intended, but not make it so that those who have a dozen products get a lot more than others, but still have some advantage over those who have, say, ten.
its would be perfect , cause lets be honest is you are a pc gamer you can afford a least 1 razer product since your pc surelly cost you more then a 100$. I agree.
PC Enthusiasts that are active on PC forums, PC oriented FB groups, reddit etc. often get an impression that everybody have money to afford high end gaming PC with GTX 1080 Ti or at least GTX 1080, RGB mechanical keyboard and high resolution/refresh rate gaming monitor. This is not true, and most people are quite happy with their PCs as long as they are able to play games at 1080p on low-medium settings and 50+ FPS as long as their $15 mouse register click every time.
Until a year ago you could of put together a PC capable of running most popular eGames titles at around 60 FPS for $350-400, but in general, entry level gaming PC could be purchased for $700 (not counting peripherals ofc). You cannot expect from person that have such limited budget for a PC to spend $100+ for single peripheral at that moment in their life. But what if you make them a fan?
If you are a parent that bought used PC with monitor, mouse, keyboard (maybe even a printer) for $600, how could you justify paying $150 for a keyboard or $90 for mouse your 15 year old dreams about?
Allow those kids to get the keyboard or mouse they dream of and they will become a lifetime Razer fans. When they grow up and get a job they will come back and buy Razer peripherals over and over again. That is what P2P was made for and I am sure it already created army of new fans.
It is true that a lot of people is abusing the system and it is hard to prevent that as no system is perfect. Making Razer peripheral a requirement for p2p will not prevent these people from abusing the system, they will go and buy broken Razer gear that can still be detected by the system for $10 and they will still be able to farm zSilver and sell stuff on ebay.
please add some more ways to earn zsilver, im a razer fans but generally i dont have much ability to afford it, really would be much appreciated to see the programs announced by razer in the future
this would definitely be a good start to relaunch the program, and it seems quite realistic too! good idea.
why cant we have p2p until they find any new solutions for it?
I think this should have to be earned with dedication to the Razer community! Implementing a new helpful or similar option to the forums that would "level up" your ID. Also with purchasing gear. This would give both sides of the table the opportunity to use the zsilver system. Also it would help build the community with more active/helpful members.
I might have mentioned this on a previous thread i can't remember, but how about a log in calendar system like the ones from the most common mmo games, where you log in ( to Cortex ) and get a reward daily. And an increased quality reward if you log in every day up until the whole month and maybe with a bonus (silvers in our case), since the Cortex only remained with the daily streak why not improving it a bit and increase the prize?
I completely agree, this is how Razer will generate bounds with real fans and furthermore, we will become advocates of Razer.
Maybe a little bit more zSilver in game every minutes, and more rewards ( Razer Cortex for exemple ).
And it can be better if you don't reset the zSilver after 12 mouths because it's hard to have 300k... haha
razer you really are genrouse, thank you so much for this other option to get razer gear
You're right. I only play games on a laptop my dad gave me years ago with a 3rd gen Intel i5 and an AMD 7450M GPU. Sure, I wish I have a better system but I can't possibly get my dad to buy me a better laptop now. We're not rich and honestly, when I bought my Razer Goliathus Control, I felt like my wallet was crying; but it feels so darn good to finally have a gaming peripheral (plus the texture is pretty helpful). Since that day, I followed Razer in Facebook and now, I'm in Insider. And thank goodness because I found out about a CEO who can talk and act like a normal guy in the internet.
Ditto that. Heck, I'd be fine with the rate of zSilver earnings back then. We're getting stuff for free FFS. But I think the zSilver expiration removal is favorable. XD
I think that just limit the number of redeemable items per account per year will help a lot. I though I can get a chance to have a razer keyboard, but the campaign is suspended. Feeling sad.
I totally agree.
I mean you could do that, you know, if a person owns atleast 1 razer item. If someone only has, let's say for example a blackwidow chroma, it would be nice if that person could grind his way and earn himself a nice razer mouse or mousepad, and extend his setup.
I currently have a razer ornata chroma, razer firefly and a razer mamba, but it would be really cool if i could add the razer base station chroma.
