The power supply in mine is buzzing loudly (have not had it long - started with my first hardcore hour of gaming). That seems like a very bad sign for at least my unit. Did not experience this with my RB14 or RBP 4K.

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

Any change with your core setting, at least after some drivers update and maybe windows is there any improvement? Blade 14 TB3 seems scores always lower than my stealth and MacBook Pro always slightly better than Blade scores on egpu setting as far I saw on egpu forum, but only on benchmark especially Firestrike, in gaming FPS or other benchmarks like heaven or timespy with similar hardware and laptops specs I saw sometimes Blade 14/stealth beats MacBook Pro 15/13 scores. I can’t wait till mid June, want to test the 15 with my Core 15.
Hmm, that made me thinking to get it from Amazon first time ever on Blade purchase, and sending back every unit that isn’t qualified on my QC standard.

No significant improvement. I spoke with Razer and they said the Titan Xp was not supported in the original Razer Core.

I see, I’ve v2 and it’s listed on that, but we can’t still get it here in EU to see that. I can’t understand though basically it’s same PSU and gpu max wattage are also 375watt I think. There’s no reason actually that they don’t support it, I don’t have xp but 1080ti, which consumes similar 250 Watt if you don’t OC it. Any TB3 should be able to support this eGPU setting especially with pascal cards and you could get it connected, only with low cpu score compared on score with dgpu. I was thinking it could be because cpu throttling that lower the performance, not because it doesn’t support. Is there any system advocates, tech geeks or staff that could correct me if I’m wrong btw.

  7. Yep, I got the email notification, by the time I clicked on it, it was gone. Either Amazon or I need to up our APM.

I really enjoy MobileTechReview YTs. Lisa's review is more indepth then others I've see and longer (22 minutes).

I'd like to point out a few of things from the review.
    1. Her review unit seems to run a bit hotter then what others have. Dave 2D's review had his gaming temps in the 70s. Many people here also are at 70 degree mark.

    2. She mentioned non-gaming temps/performance and those temps tend to be in the 50c mark. I'm sure with some tweaking I can get that down further. Having the opportunity to game is a plus for me, but I'll be using it for other tasks as well.

    3. Heat around the battery, this is a bit more concerning, at least for a long term perspective. I don't want to deal with a bloated battery ruining the laptop 3 years down the road.

    4. Palm rests can get hot, when gaming. Something that I want to keep in mind.

Has anyone with heat problems tried Liquid Metal?
Does it really give this much difference?

Someone on Razer subreddit did that, seems successful but I’m kind worried on long term usage.

I wouldn't want to take a chance. The risk of making an expensive brick or long term issues

I’ve been trying to order mine since Friday, but I’ve been waiting since then for Razer support to give me a call to verify my identity. I was told Friday at noon and Saturday morning that I’d be contacted before the end of the day, and then contacted support again Saturday night at 9pm pst, only to be told that I’d be contacted within 24 hours. Fast forward to Monday at 5:30pm pst, still no phone call. Is this thing even worth waiting for a call from support that I was told would happen three days ago, or should I give my money to a different company?

Try PayPal, never use other payment on Razer store, this has no problem so far, I saw similar problems with credit cards payment.

I would gladly do that, but when I’m checking out on my phone, all I see is the option to pay with a card or Affirm. Going into either of those options doesn’t give me the option for PayPal.

That’s true that’s no PayPal payment options again? Come on Razer! I use always PayPal for that, think it’ll be first time I buy Blade from Amazon:/
Btw it’s available already in some EU store which is great:)

I’m in the US. I was gonna buy from amazon, but the model I want is only available from third parties, and at a higher price. I’m trying to get the 1080p gtx 1070 with 512gb ssd. I may consider using affirm, if I either don’t get the call or just decide to go with a different brand.

Yes I was also shocked after all this waiting, no PayPal to me is big, and maybe I’ll have options only from Amazon since it takes time to full my CC over 2K, too lazy doing that. And sadly I use to like buying something from store with PayPal since it more secure and simple than CC. Even Apple is offering PayPal now, before I don’t think they have since I was their good buyer before moving to Razer...
