I've been using it for some light video production, and I imagine that it would be more than enough power for music. If you're worried about CPU power I would compare the performance stats for the i7-8565u in the new Stealth to the processors in competing laptops.

I'm pretty sure that one of our Well-Known Members has also used a previous Stealth version for music production. I'll see if I can find him and get him to chime in on here. Granted, it is a different version, but I wouldn't see how technology would go BACKWARD in this case, and get worse as time went on.

    Stand by. :)

Aha, found him! Hey, @ThirdDegreePun , you did a lot of your music on a Razer Blade Stealth, right? Tell us about your experience! With the differences between your Stealth and the newest version, do you think you'd still be able to produce on the new one, and in your opinion, would the experience be better or worse than what you've gone through?
