Is this much light spilling normal?

Hi, I just got a Razor Ornata Chroma, I've liked a lot how the keyboard types. A bit of mechanical, a bit of membrane.
However, when it comes to the RGB lighting customisation, something was bugging me. I had trouble getting the WASD keys to stand out.
Here is my keyboard with WASD and arrow keys illuminated with Standard red: https://imgur.com/7kRqTGN
By itself, the red light is spilling into the Q and E, Z and X and even the number keys. Then when I tried adding in more lights: https://imgur.com/4352ZZM

the yellow light is pretty much making the red difficult to see (compare with the red of the arrow keys).

I'm wondering is this much of light "spilling" over into adjacent keys normal? Or should I ask for a refund?

Also it might look better from top down, from but sitting position, the light spilling is worse, and imprecise as to almost defeat the point of having individually customisable keys: https://imgur.com/OnpEDQU

This would be normal for the Ornata Chroma. As it is MechaMembrane, it has a different layout beneath the keycaps as of the mechanical ones thus making the lights spread out more.
