Hello ¿your thoughts about this controller? its worth it for the price? I think maybe purcahase it.
I personally love my Elite Controller. I use it every day, the extra paddles on the back are awesome for mapping anything you want to them. The grip is nice. The swappable joy sticks are sweet so you can choose the ones that you prefer. It feels more solid as a whole.
I absolutely love it. Single best controller I have ever used. I use it for all none FPS on PC and the only reason I still buy any mutliplatform games on my Xbox One over my PS4 Pro
I have a buddy who swears by his just as much as I swear by my Steam Controller.
What are you trying to get out of it?
Thanks for the answers
I have one and it is certainly a nice controller. it is heavier and better made than the standard Xbox controller. Not sure if it is worth it for me. I grew up on Playstation so after some recent updates allowing the PS4 controller to be more compatible with Windows and Steam I prefer it over the Elite.
Before you buy any controller you should search YouTube for vides explaining problems and faults of that controller. I was about to buy XBOX Elite. I had it ordered in a shop. And then I watched videos showing that its buttons (those over the triggers) have design flaw that will make them break with use.
As for its build quality it is nothing more than marketer induced illusion.
I've been using my controller every day for at least a few hours every day, since launch, and it still works fine. You will always see the complaining minority online, where most of the peoples controllers are perfectly fine.
Sure, but why take chances? Murphy's first law clearly states that if something can go wrong it will eventually. And with my luck Im sure I'd be the one with faulty controller
I've had three Xbox one controllers and one elite controller that have all stopped working so no, my Wildcat has outlasted all of them.
