Issues with Razer Kaira Pro Headset

I've had my headset for a few months now and have been using it for my PC, mostly just as a communications device for zoom, discord, etc. The issues I'm having with it are 1; when it's connected via bluetooth, I can only hear anything when it's set to Hands-Free AG Audio. The playback seems to be working because when I adjust the levels on my volume mixer, I can see the volume indicator changing but I'm getting now sound actually coming through the headset. 2; I can't install the firmware update. I have my headset plugged in using the cable that came with my device and it gets stuck at the "Connect the headset to the PC using the USB charging cable" screen and I can not progress any further. I'm a little disappointed that I dropped over $100 on these and they don't seem to work right. I'm not sure if there's anything I'm doing wrong or haven't updated first, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
