Issues with Razer Thresher and Xbox Series X

I'm using a pair of Thresher for Xbox (the standard wireless model, not the Ultimate one) with my new Xbox Series X and I'm having all sorts of problems.

First, I had the audio cracking/stuttering when the new controller was not in use.
This was solved with the late november console firmware update.

However, if I shutdown the console from the controller with the headset still connected, the console turns itself back on with the controller not responding.

The same happens if i switch off the headset before turning off the console.

The only way to turn off the console correctly is to: turn off the controller, turn off the headset, turn off the console from the front switch. However, the next time I turn on the console, the controller won't respond to inputs.

Meanwhile Razer still says the Thresher for Xbox headset is fully compatible with Series X | S

Other people using wireless headsets from other vendors have similar issues: some of them were fixed with headset updates from the vendor.

Anyone had similar problems or have any fix?

Same problem here with Thresher (not ultimate) with Series S, when I turning off the console from controller, the console turns itself back and un-sync controller and headset.
Also, the same problem was with my Steelseries Arctis 9x (on Series 😵, but recently SteelSeries release updated firmware that fixed the problem. I hope Razer will update firmware for Thresher.

Exactly. There seems to be a partial workaround (not always working, but it's a start), turning off the console from the controller and then immediately turning off the headset (while the xbox light on the console is still flashing). If all goes well, the console shuts off correctly and next time I turn it on, the controller is working.

Anyway, the fact that Steelseries solved the problem with a firmware update shows that it's not something that can be solved by Microsoft alone but the headset vendor has to take some action.
To date, the only official words from Razer are stating that the Thresher are fully compatibile with the new Series X | S: this is misleading, at least.
Well I don't know if it should be funny or not, but I did contact Razer Support and they told me to check if there's a firmware update for the headset.
Since I entered the headset serial number when opening the case, I expected them to know, at least, that on their site there's NO (zero, niet, nada) firmware update for the Thresher for Xbox Headset...

Frankly disappointed, at the time.
I'm considering to sell my headset before it loses too much value and buy another one from another vendor that it's known to work.
