but don't make it 14/15 inches... the sweet spot is the 10/11" tablet size.

Macbook Air 11's are one of the most popular things ever, this would be the PC version with gaming chops.

An update to their edge line would be cool I mean it can be a laptop with an attachment keyboard though no internsls in the keyboard

I totally don't disagree with you that 128 GB is a freakishly small amount of space, but even the Razer Blade starts at 128 GB and that's an actual laptop. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with an i5 and 128 GB starts at 999.00 so if you wanted to include more space and a dedicated graphics the price will easily be in the thousands for 128 GB.

Yes there are more 1 TB SSD options but they still cost a few hundred dollars for one. As a tablet I wouldn't want a HDD in mine even if it's 1 TB because of the moving parts. If the prices were to drop down drastically, then I'd totally be down for it, but I don't think I've ever seen a 1 TB SSD laptop...

So in the current marketplace I think we'd probably have a trilemma of
    1. relative affordability
    2. storage space
    3. GPU/CPU specs.
    Pick two of the three.

Price is going to be the defining feature for it, I'd imagine.

Hard to cram all those components in a small case and still make it budget friendly.

I'm all for it, as long as I can actually afford it and the accessories and upgrades

  7. Still, $200 for a dock on the razer edge is unacceptable for something that basically acts as a converter and a stand in one.

Also in Australia it's $150 for their wired controller..
I can go pick a wireless 360 controller for $36 with the usb dongle for windows, may not be as good as razer's controller but not worth pay 5x the price.

Im all about it!! A new edge would be bad ass. As long as they make the peripherals a bit more affordable. I love my edge but its kind of a hassle to use without the keyboard dock. I cant find them anywhere and from what it looks like, more tablets were made than the peripherals. Maybe if they made enough for a second run...i can dream i guess lol

any way we could start a petition for a new edge and send it right to the CEO?

I hate to be the one giving life to this old thread again, but I too would love to see a new Edge. There are way too few decent "pc-tablets" on the market.

:big_grin_: Looks like I was about a year early...

With Razer's new coming announcements, an Edge or 2 in 1 seems extremely likely!
