"Item Serial Number is Unknown" When trying to register Razer Kraken V3 X

    Hi There,

    I recently purchased the above headset and am trying to register the product, when I fill in the details I get the error "Item Serial Number is Unknown", I've triple checked what I'm entering and even tried replacing some of the zeros with the letter O as that seemed to work for others but sadly not for me.

    Interestingly when I enter the serial number here https://mysupport.razer.com/app/warranty-support/ it does seem to pick it up, but I just can't seem to get it registered.

    Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

    Quick update on this
    Raised a separate support case with Razer support on this and after providing the required info so far all I have been told is that "since the device is new possible SN is not yet registered in our system."
    It's a bit frustrating as I'm required to register the device to access some features and so far I'm just not able to.

    Currently waiting to here back to see if there is a way around this.

    Will update here if I have any success.

    Ok so I finally got this sorted out.

    They didn't say what the problem or fix was but sent on the serial number and product number and asked me to register the device.

    To be clear they sent on the exact same serial number and product number I had sent them originally so I guess it really was just not in their system. I entered the details again and was able to register the device finally.

    So for anyone else having this issue just get a support case open with Razer here
    https://mysupport.razer.com/app/warranty-support/
    they will ask for:
    The serial number - photo of it on the device or box that came with it
    Date of Purchase
    Place of Purchase
    Proof of Purchase - Invoice or order confirmation showing the purchase(you can omit any private info like your address or anything related you your credit card, that's what I did)

    Hope this helps anyone else having similar problems
