Key Modifier [feature request?]

New here, tried searching for this, but can't seem to find a solution. I was trying to figure out, in chroma studio, a way to be able to hold a modifier key (say the ctl or shift key) and have that change the color of other keys while that key is pressed.

Ideally i'd like to be able to hold down the modifier key, and then see the keys with related shortcut functions in a different color so that I can go to them quickly. So ctl is held down and then the S changes to red, to remind me that I can save.

Is this already possible in some way that I'm missing, if it's not... how can I request this, as I think it would be quite useful, so much so.... I'm shocked there doesn't seem to be a way to do it already.
