    Hey,

I just bought a BlackWidow Chroma v2 Orange and I noticed that it has this weird echo sound (from the springs?) after the *click* whenever I type. Some keys echo louder than others. Is this normal or is there some kind of defect? I tried contacting Live Chat, but I can't get a hold of them...

    Anyone experiencing this as well?

I made some videos where you can hear this echo sound.

That's what's more commonly known as "ping" in the mechanical keyboard world and it's found on all Cherry MX switches and their clones. It's pretty normal but if it's excessively loud and bothers you, I'm sure Razer would RMA the keyboard for you. The problem is there's no guarantee your replacement will be better, the same or worse. I also seriously hate ping, especially when it's obnoxiously loud.

Yeah, Razer support told me pretty much the same, but suggested me to try another device at the store. Went back and tested another one, but no difference in the "ping" sound unfortunately. Guess I'll just try out the keyboard for a few months and if it's still annoying I'll just buy a different keyboard. Thanks for your help!
