Keyboard Button issues

Hello all,

I have a Razer Huntsman Elite that I bought a few years back that has recently began showing issues with my Z key. Whenever the button is pressed my computer attempts to turn on Caret Browsing as if I was pressing F7 and then proceeds to spam a random key press until I unplug and then replug in my keyboard to reset it. I haven't found any issues via my software or macros that could cause this issue, and I will be testing another keyboard on my computer to determine whether this is solely a hardware issue with the Huntsman Elite.

Until then, is there any other reports of this happening via Huntsman keyboards? I haven't been able to find anything similar except the typical key press spam which doesn't seem to apply since pressing the Z key will spam any character except Z.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to repair/fix this issue?

Did you already try the steps here? To further isolate the issue, try to temporarily disable the Synapse application and test the keyboard on multiple PCs. Feel free to check our self-help if you have questions or PM me should you need further assistance.
