Keyboard not working since morning update

    The synapse software updated this morning and an hour or so after my keyboard started to act up. It would go offline, losing all its lighting, then come back. Did this a few times then went off and stayed off.

    I tried unplugging and replugging the usb connectors, this would bring it back for a moment.
    So I shutdown and restttttttttttttttt (here I gave up and installed an old logitech keyboard)arted the computer to try again. It failed while trying to write this message.

    Any ideas? Is there a way to reverse this mornings update?

    PS. I am disabled and really find the keyboard to work really well for me, so I'm loathe to lose it. And it is now out of warranty.

    SO IT SEEMS LIKE ITS AUTO SHIFTING FOR ME AND THE CTRL BUTTON ISN"T WORKING> MY MOUSE SCROLL WHEEL ISNT WORKING ANYMORE EITHER> PRESSING SHIFT DOES NOTHING TO STOP THE CAPS>>>SORRY FOR TYPING IN ALL CAPS> GOING TO TRY A RESTART

    Well, this is good to know. I'm glad it usually takes me a week to do a synapse update. :)

    Ello after a restart, everything seems to be running perfectly again. I'm not sure what's wrong with your keyboard. Are you also on Synapse version 1.18? And I'm also curious about your operating system - are you on Windows 10? There seem to be reports about Synapse acting up with older products when combined with Windows 10.

    I had problems with the Chroma Workshop on the latest version. Fortunately, I still had the installer for the old Synapse software and was able to roll it back.

    My advice: never ditch or overwrite the old software for this very reason and keep an eye out for bug-fix patches.

    Latest update caused a few issues for me too, restart fixed it though..nothing ever since.

    If nothing is working for you maybe you should try re installing drivers? :)

    @Ello, try reinstalling the drivers. This usually works in most cases, but do write in to Support if it still isn't working after that - I'll be happy to look into your case for you.

    Yep - you kind of made a fool of yourself... (just a little bit).

    Common mistake - you probably didn't get the chance to extract the last couple of lines from the explosive amount of CAPS... :smirk:
