Is it safe to get keys in Razer Ornata Chroma? I would like to clean it but I do not have Keycap Remover.

I was told by Razer when I got mine last January to not take the keys off since they are still membrane, just with the metal tab to make the feel a bit different and make the noise. Taking them off can break the metal piece I think, and you would likely void your warranty.

The way I clean mine is getting a can of compressed air and lifting the keyboard on a tilt, and that gets some of the dirt and other stuff in it out.

Thanks for such a quick response. Good to know. On some YouTube videos, you could see the key pulled out. For example in this video:

I also pulled off the Escape key on mine before, but I found it would be annoying to have to take them off with my fingers for them all. I sent Razer a message asking if they have some kind of tool that will help take off the keys, and they said just to not take the keys off since you could damage the metal piece and possibly void the warranty. I think the keys would come off and you could clean it like that if you had the time, but I would not risk it IMO.

Since this is still a membrane keyboard, pulling the keycap is not recommended.
If you all want to do is just to clean some hair and dust,I recommend you get a dust-off compressed gas duster to blow them out.
Unless the key is a bit sticky, until that you are not recommended to pull keycap from any membrane base keyboard.
