Are Razer Green Switches just prone to issues?

I've already RMA'ed my Blackwidow V2 Tournament Ed. once for this issue.

This keyboard is like new--there isn't any debris or dust in there.

I type a lot for my job and accuracy is hugely important to my role. Is there a software fix for this? Need a temp fix before I get a new non-Razer keyboard.

Heya! Does the same thing happen when you plug your Blackwidow to another PC?

I do not have another PC to test it with. That said, like a few of your other long-time fans, I have both Synapse 2 and 3 installed on my PC. Other than that, could you provide a list of apps that are known to cause problems with your keyboards? Thanks.

You can always download some linux distro like Linux Mint, and make a LiveUSB, then bootup Mint from USB and check if it's system fault or the keyboard itself.

That's way too much trouble to go through to troubleshoot a product that's not even one month out of the box.

So just RMA the keyboard it it's "too much troubleshooting". From my experience, it's better to troubleshoot device, than not troubleshooting and get rid of the device for some time.

You've also not provided information if ALL keys are double registring or some of them.

I've already purchased a new non-Razer keyboard. I do not plan to go through with this, ever again.

And you're missing the point--it doesn't matter which key, or if there's one key, or if there are ten keys that are malfunctioning. This is not an acceptable user experience for a US$100+ keyboard. But just to entertain your curiosity, "A", "E", "N" and the spacebar are double registering.

I'm recently uninstalled Synapse 2 to test whether it's a software issue. If it is indeed, I have myself a backup keyboard in case the other fails.

It DOES matter if it's whole keyboard or single key. Saw this several times, that OS or some background app is causing double key typing (on non-Razer keyboards too). But if it's only 4-5 keys, there's big possibility, that your keyboard is failured out of box.

Happy to report that uninstalling Synapse 2 seems to have solved the problem. I've been typing extensively on online typing tests between replying you. There's only so much testing I can do myself, though. I'd advise someone at Razer to investigate into this potential software conflict.

Using both Synapse 2 (for ManO'Wars) and Synapse 3 (for Basilisk, DAE & BW Chroma V2) - no issues.
Every OS/setup is different, and it's hard or impossible to test every of it. I do not defend Razer - just saying from my experience.

I concur--it is an insurmountable task for the common man like you and I. A publicly-traded company like Razer, however, should have the resources to tackle this issue. I have full confidence.

Not defending Razer, but the issue with these types of issues is that a company can't possibly factor in every hardware/software setup. They rely on users with issues to work with them to test and send output logs in order to build up their internal knowledge bases.
