KRAKEN 7.1 V2 causing PC system to shutdown or restart

Recently my system has been restarting or shutting down. After believing it was either power related or other hardware, a detailed look at the event log revealed it was the HID-compliant headset driver.

With the driver enabled, the system would run normally until it either shut down or restart with the event log showing:

Critical 8/20/2019 8:07:44 PM DriverFrameworks-UserMode 10111 User-mode Driver problems.
-- The device HID-compliant headset (location (unknown)) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device 5 more times. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem.

and

Critical 8/20/2019 8:07:44 PM DriverFrameworks-UserMode 10110 User-mode Driver problems.
-- A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices.

With the driver disabled, my system will run normally.

I have uninstalled all related drivers and programs, reinstalled, and with everything enable, I still have random restarts or shutdowns.

Any idea what might be causing this? I have been using these headphones for almost 4 years with no issue until now.

Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

No, Razor support was no help and threw up their hands and said whatever it is, was not their problem.

Did you have to get a different brand headset to fix the problem? I stream and every time I play overwatch my pc shuts off due to hid headset and driver issues with the razer kraken. im leaning towards getting a new headset at this point but im not sure which one i want

I am going too once I get the chance. This is the second time within a year I have had problems with Razor equipment and their support has been terrible and threw up their hands.

They lost me has a long time customer and will purchase from one of their competitors.

hey! so i actually did something that worked for me. go to device manager > universal series bus controllers > right click USB root hub (usb 3.0) > power management > uncheck allow computer to turn off to save power

also i talked to razer customer support and they had me go into program files x86 and delete everything razer and uninstall both synapse and reinstall everything and replug everything in

i hope one of these works for you!
