Hello everyone, it's been several months since I've had problems with my kraken: the audio on the left side is slightly lower than the right one and this happens every time synapse 2.0 starts.
I have already contacted the support service and through their guides that provided for the clean uninstallation of Synapse, Cortex and SDK and subsequent reinstallation did not lead to a positive outcome.
I have been advised to do a test with their test account and the problem does not occur, so it is a settings saved on my account but I can not edit via synapse, does not exist as an option except on windows and means that every time I turn on the pc I have to go into the windows audio settings and rebalance the audio.
They also asked me to send them (the customer service via chat) the synapse logs that they would then give to the developers who analyzed it.
They replied half an hour ago saying to create a new account, so they did not find a better solution unfortunately.
Also two of my friends, who have Kraken 7.1 v2 like me and Kraken pro v2 had the exact same problem.
Did you have the same problem? have you managed to find a solution or how do you have to fix it every time via the windows audio settings?

P.S. I tried to install synapse 3.0 beta and the problem does not occur for the simple reason that synapse 3.

Let me see what I can do. Please send me the case number via PM so I can take a peek.

No thanks, they have already tried to solve the problem but apparently there is no solution, I created a new profile and now it's okay. I had created this discussion to know if others had the same problem (since two friends have found the same defect) and eventually try to explain well what I did and what they can do, given that there is no solution.

You mean, using a new Synapse login fixed the unbalanced audio? I just want to document that and perhaps try to recreate it in the lab.

I want to say that I have created a new account with a new email and the problem is not there, if I go back to using the old account the problem comes back

I also sent the synapse log file to let the developers analyze it, but the answer was "create another account" and so I did. It must be a synapse bug. Also for this I created the post, because I saw that others have had the same problem and that maybe there was a solution. Although it may be useless to do a synapse 2 update as the development team is probably working on 3

We take all feedback seriously and trust me, it's not for naught. It is possible that your old account's cloud save got corrupted. Can you send me the case number you were provided via PM so I can take a peek? I'd like to see what options we have other than for you to use another account.

I will direct support you! Because I just fixed this 2 days ago!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

It is software problem, but it can be fixed with consumer level of knowledge.:wink_:

(I was working and my Kraken 7.1 v2 was left at home, please be patient for another 5 hours.)

Perhaps I could answer you now.

First, I assume you are using Windows 10. Go to “Bluetooth & other devices”. Remove device “Razer Kraken 7.1 v2” (Whenever you see you RAZER headset name). I’m not sure it will ask for restart, but if yes please do so. In the meantime, unplug your Razer Kraken 7.1 v2 from computer.

After restart (or after that), go to go bottom right of taskbar to right click speaker icon and click “Sounds”. Go to “Playback” tab, right click and find any of the output device, make it default device. Then restart your computer.

After restart, uninstall Razer Synapse 2.0. Then, you will ask again to restart. Restart. (If not then no need to do so)

Don’t plug back Razer Kraken 7.1 v2. Reinstall Razer Synapse 2.0. After that, if you have Razer Synapse 3.0 Beta, please use same account when login to Razer Synapse 2.0.

If Razer Synapse 2.0 asked you to sync your account data from cloud to local, please sync “local data to cloud”, not “cloud to local”.

Plug back your Razer Kraken 7.1 v2. Test if the sound problem gets solved. Haven’t done yet. Kindly sync again your setting now to cloud again.

Restart your computer. After restart, and all Razer Synapse run up completely, only then try listen the sound again. I assume the problems may come back. Then go bottom right of taskbar to right click speaker icon and click “Sounds”. Go to “Playback” tab, right click your output device, which is “Razer Kraken 7.1 v2” and click in “Properties”. Go to “Levels” and click every “Balance” and adjust if there is something unbalance. Make sure “Apply” and “Ok” every setting.

In the end, sync again your setting in Razer Synapse 2.0 and restart computer see if problem solved.

under the sound is the sony tv (I have always connected the TV with the hdmi cable). If you had connected the headphones and were present under the audio section I would not have sent the screen

Then you should just unplug and reinstall everything. Plug the Razer Kraken 7.1 v2 to another USB port.
