So I have the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma, had it for like 2 years and it has been doing really good and I love it but I wanna buy a new headset because I can't buy ear cushions for this headset anymore and the cable alongside with the top of the headset are a little bit "damaged".

So comparing the three headsets in the topic, which one is the best and why? I think the Kraken 7.1 V2 are a better version of mine, therefore they must be really good, I was kinda disappointed about the ManO'War materials so maybe I would pass them, even tho they look comfortable and all. The Kraken Pro V2 seem pretty comfortable as well, with a different microphone from the Kraken 7.1 V2, I don't know which has the best microphone and what the ECM Boom is on the Kraken Pro V2.

Please help me choose the best one.

If you have a Kraken 7.1 Chroma (V1), you are better off going with the Kraken 7.1 V2. I used the Kraken Chromas for around 2 years before getting those a couple Christmas's back first when they came out, and everything about them is better IMO (Sound, Feeling on the head etc..).

The Pro's don't have surround sound, the different Mic that you said (I don't really know much about that), and it does have the in line audio control buttons. It is also missing out on the chroma, and it uses a headphone jack so if you travel a bit I would suggest getting that instead, other wise go with the Kraken 7.1 V2.

The 7.1 is not really a problem to me and I could always use Razer Surround, plus the in line controls are really nice and the headphone jack might have some use for the phone, I just wanted to know if the microphone was good in the Pro V2, I have heard it has a really good build quality.

I have the Kraken 7.1 V2's, and they have great sound, really good mic, and are really comfy (I'm using oval ear cushions). Also, chroma, can't go wrong with chroma.
ManO'Wars have had a lot of issues with the headband snapping, and as jenjar said, the pros don't have 7.1 surround, so aren't as good for the surround experience.

Yeah the surround if a pro of the 7.1 V2 but I was thinking about the Noise Canceling Mic VS the ECM Boom? Cause Mic would be my biggest concern...

I use the mic on my Kraken V2's for streaming online whilst playing games, and I've never had any complaints about the sound quality (my bf also plays computer games in the same room whilst talking to friends and it only picks up his voice if shouting).

That is really nice and I have the Kraken 7.1, no regrets, way too good, I am just considering and giving the Pro V2 a chance because I heard good, but not sure how I can compare it.

The 7.1 V2 has the better microphone because it's a digital microphone. Audio should be slightly better as well due to it using its own built in DAC, so you don't have to rely on your motherboard's sound quality. You can also adjust the sound signature in Razer Synapse as well.

The advantages the Pro V2 has is versatility with more platforms since it's a 3.5mm connection and in line volume control for volume and mic mute. Everything else is pretty much the same in terms of build quality, ear pads, etc...

If your main use is for PC only, I'd go with the 7.1 V2.
