Kraken Kitty Edition disconnecting issue

Have purchased the new Razer Kraken Kitty Edition headphones. The audio is cutting in and out as well as disconnecting from Synapse 3.0 and Device Drivers. Has worked temporarily while in a game for a few hours with out disconnecting but while out of game it continuously disconnects/reconnects/crashes

In device manager, when it disconnects it disappears from "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" and "Human Interface Devices" and every so often it crashes in the USB section "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)", with error "Code 43"

* Have uninstalled all the drivers related to the Kraken and done a fresh re-install of synapse 3.0 and updated to version 3.5.116.10714

* Have also disabled USB selective suspend setting in power options, but no luck.

* Have plugged them into another computer with the same issues. Both computers are running Windows 10 Home Edition

I have the same exact issue. I really love these. I hope this is a app issue...

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your concern here. That is odd. Are you connecting the headset directly to your computer's USB port? Does the issue happen even when Razer Synapse 3.0 is disabled/closed? If you haven't tried, please perform the steps below and observe:

  • Right-click the Razer Synapse icon found on the system tray.
  • Disable Razer Synapse by clicking the appropriate button.

  • Select "Exit All Apps" for Razer Synapse 3

Should the issue persists, please send me a PM. Let's continue from there.
