Kraken kitty Edition Headsets

So my wife has had the kraken kitty ear headset but it started to cut the sound when it's connected to her laptop. It switches from having sound and then no sound. I already checked the usb port on her laptop and the headset port too but I can't figure it out please help

Does the headset still appear in the Device Manager when the issue occurs? Isolate the issue by following the steps from this page. If the problem persists, send me the serial number of your headset. I can use it to look for other solutions.
