Kraken Mic Extremely Quiet

Hi I literally just got my Kraken headset yesterday and everything works fine, but the mic is extremely quiet and I have turned up every setting in windows to the max. I am using the AUX cable version (I did not get the USB dongle version of the headset so it's not even an option). I have tried using Razer Synapse 2.0 and Razer Synapse 3.0 to no avail because the headset does not show up on either software. I have even repaired both software programs and restarted my computer, even tried the whole disconnect the headset then close Synapse then connect again and open Synapse. I've literally tried everything on every reddit thread and Youtube video to try to fix this and nothing is working. Extremely disappointing from a name brand headset. Would really like a fix.

Which krakens do you have exactly? There are many models.
If you're using "AUX" version (3.5 mm mini jack), then it's not compatible with Synapse software, and you have to configure it via your audio driver app (Realtek HD Audio app in most cases).

Also check if your microphone is facing in good direction (air vent must be outside):
