I just wanted to know is there any difference in the models besides the mobile having a detachable cord?

A bendy, retractable mic on the kraken.
Kraken works on android by default.
    Cooler colors for the mobile.

    Hey there,

If you want it for gaming and to have it on the go I would suggest the Razer Kraken Pro. If you can find the older versions of them even better. The new Kraken Pro with the volume adjuster just seem to be a bit unreliable to me. My girlfriend had a pair and the volume adjuster crapped out on her with in a few week.

    Hope that helps!

Both are Krakens. In the future, specify which one (the one you're talking about is Pro).
It does not need to be a mobile to have neon colors, in fact Kraken Pro Neon series are offering the same colors, but with the Kraken Pro features
Again, you should specify which one are you talking about (the one you're talking about is Pro).

P.S. The base model, called just ''Kraken'' does not have any kind of a mic.

Well It seems you did it again. xD

It is not allowed to use such words on this forum. That rules annoys me too, but I have to deal with it :/.

I can confirm that there is no difference in audio quality
However in my opinion the neon colours look much better, so if you want the kraken pro you should better get the kraken pro neon's

neither the kraken pro nor the kraken mobile use a usb connection, I guess you're talking about the kraken 7.1

yeess sorry, my mistake. the difference is the microphone, in the pro is like the kraken 7.1 that you can use it or hide into the phones, in the mobile mic is attached to the cable. rigth?

in testing both, i found them to be comparable in both mic quality and audio quality as well. I use my kraken mobiles with the gf PC when traveling and it works great for gaming. So much so that i gave my kraken pro's to the brother in law. The kraken 7.1 chroma's are my main gaming headset which is better than both of them, but has a usb connection. Also the cable it braided and stronger than the one that comes with the pro's or the mobile's. If you want a multipuropse headset get the mobile's. If you want a dedicated gaming headset i would opt for the kraken 7.1 chroma's
