Kraken Tournament Edition loud buzzing sound

    When I have my Kraken TE connected into the USB controller that it came with, it will emit a very loud buzzing sound. When I have it plugged into my 3.5mm jack on my pc there is no buzzing at all. Whats going on?

    Hi there! Can you share a screenshot of your playback tab? Please make sure that the Kraken TE-Chat is set as the default communication device while the Kraken TE-Game is set as the default device.

    I'm having the same issue since a couple of days ago, the headset was working perfectly for the past month since I purchased it, then suddenly the Kraken - Audio is "Buzzing" when sounds are played from it, there is sound for a few minutes and then it starts buzzing and then goes silent, or there is no audio at all.

    Discord is set to use the Chat output, and even when it plays a sound like joining a channel or muting, I get a loud 1 second "Buzz". I also get the same "Buzz" when playing a test sound in the Windows Sound devices. Tried switching to a different USB port, removed and re-installed the Synapse 3.4.216.21216 software but the issue remains.

    The only change on my PC over the past week has been an Nvidia driver update, but nothing other than that.

    Friends are also telling me that when I speak in Discord, I sound like I'm speaking through a tunnel and there is a faint buzzing sound as well since the Buzzing that I hear started, whereas when I first got the Kraken they commented on how clear I was compared to my old headset.

    Using the Headset via 3.5mm jack works perfectly, but no spatial audio... Surround sound for gaming was one of the key reasons that I purchased this headset after my Logitech G633's mic died 3 days after the warranty expired...
