Kraken Tournament Edition Microphone Not Working!

Good evening, I just purchased a pair of the Kraken Tournament Edition headphones today and have spent the last 4 hours trying to get them to work correctly. Upon plugging them into my USB on my PC, the prompt to download Synapse 3 came up and the headset drivers installed automatically through Windows 10. Once Synapse was installed and the drivers were finished, I rebooted my PC. Upon reboot, I then went into Synapse and began setting up the headphones, everything was fine. I have my Headphones TE-Chat and TE-Game set as default communication device and default device in the playback settings. And have the Headset Microphone TE-Chat set as the default device in Recording. I can hear my microphone in the Synapse settings under "SideTone" so I know the microphone is functioning. However, I can NOT get the microphone to work in anything else. Discord, Windows, Steam, and in-game, there is zero microphone capability! How do I fix this? I've followed the instructions completely and cannot get this to work! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE:

After I posted this last night, I uninstalled Synapse 3 and the headphones entirely using the Device Manager in Windows. I then rebooted my PC to start from scratch. I plugged the USB adapter into my PC and Windows began installing drivers. Upon completion I noticed that I was able to use the microphone and sound correctly. After this, I then installed Razer Synapse 3, thinking that it was fixed. It was only AFTER installing Synapse3 that the microphone then stopped working. So something is wrong with the Synapse software, which is a shame because the whole reason I purchased these headphones was to be able to using the Equalizer and the 7.1 Surround provided by Synapse. Should I roll back to Synapse 2 since 3 is still in beta? Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @JMUTowlee! I've already replied to your PM. Let's continue there.
Has anyone had success getting these to function correctly in Windows 10? I've probably uninstalled/reinstalled the headphones and Synapse about 10 times with no success. What continues to happen is this scenario.

1. I plug in the USB Audio Controller into the USB Port on the back of my computer.
2. Windows detects the headset and I see Razer Audio Controller-Game and Razer Audio Controller-Chat show up in my available speaker settings.
3. A Razer Synapse window pops up to prompt me to install Synapse3.
4. Before I install Synapse3, I make sure Razer Audio Controller-Game is set as my Default Device and Razer Audio Controller-Chat is set as my Default Communication Device. I also check in Recording devices and ensure Razer Audio Controller-Chat is set as my Default recording device.
5. I reboot my PC to make sure the settings are good.
6. I then install Razer Synapse3 and it detects my USB Audio Controller and I set up the EQ,Mic etc..
7. I verify that my headset is working and my mic is functioning by enabling "SideTone" in Synapse Mic settings, and I can hear my voice in the headset.
8. I check the Microphone Privacy settings in Windows and ensure that I have "Allow Apps to access the microphone" is set to ON.
9. I reboot my PC

So by following all of these steps, I can't think of anything I missed to set these up correctly. The issue I'm having is, when I go into Windows and look at my Sound settings, I don't see any audio coming from my microphone!!! I can hear sound from my headphones and adjust bass, volume etc.. but my microphone isn't working at all.

The only time my mic works is if I disable Razer Audio Controller-Game and only use Razer Audio Controller-Chat as my default device, but then I don't get my 7.1 THX or good quality sound and cannot adjust game/chat volume.

I know this was very detailed, has anyone else here had microphone issues? If so, how did you fix it? I've been working on this for 4 days now.....With a back and forth response from support maybe two times a day with a generic fix..PLEASE HELP ME!!
After nearly no support for these issues, I'm returning this headset. It's frankly ridiculous that I cannot get this to work correctly after nearly 5 days of troubleshooting...
