Yo!

I am curious about the dongle thingy for THX spatial sound. I am curious about two things.

Firstly, the dongle has a sticky back. How sticky is it? I don't have a super stationary set up and I don't want to stick it to something, only to find out later that I am to move something and then, boom! Unusable! Is it intended to be stuck to a stationary computer? Because it's got a super-long cable, which is extra confusing, suggesting that it isn't meant to be stuck to a computer as... well the length of the cable would make that pretty useless. Just curious what people think, it's not a deal breaker or anything, just a bit odd.

Secondly, I also noticed that the little wheel on it which is supposed to change to a "game mode". However, it just seems to change the volume. Is that the idea?

You don't have to stick it if you don't want to. Mine is laying on the desktop and the cable length helps a lot. However, it looks as adhesive as double sided tape for paper, so you should be able to remove it afterwards. You'll need to clean the surface though, as some glue might be left on it. The button/wheel you are talking about in the chat mix volume knob. It allows you to have your chat/communication sound louder than the game sound (or vice-versa) provided you're game sound is output tu the Kraken TE Game device and you communication/vocal chat is output to the Kraken TE Chat audio device. The best way to achieve this is to use a third-party software for your chat/vocal (Discord, Skype, Teamspeak or whatever). The ingame vocal/chat is most often mixed with the main game sound (output to one single device).
