Hi guys
Received my V3 pro's yesterday and am mostly very pleased with them.
I was wondering if anyone has set up the EQ settings to get the most out of them?
I've tried the presets with varied results.
I play Hunt Showdown so foot steps etc are important.

Also has anyone had any issues with the volume control? When adjusting it on the headset at times it seems to lower the left side more than the right and it throws you right off. I ended up maxing the volume on the headset and adjusting the volume on the console instead.
I'm using them on ps5 if that makes any odds.

Hi this issue with volume control i noticed as well ... at some point aprox 75% on headset it normalizes and both sides are on the same level. Same goes for like 0-50%i would say... that right side goes down to the left side and both are the same but from like 50-75% level of volume its not at the same level. I ended up with 75% volume and rest im controling in games or something, i did that this way on my Nari too anyway so i dont mind this that much. However i noticed slight issues with some connections and synapse recognizing device. Repair the instalation works but only once, after reboot issues are back. Also im not sure about the charging, they say 3 hours till fully charged and green light needs to show it however overnight its still not lit up. Also when i charge them its blinking continuously, after some time blinking stops and its aprox every 2 minutes interval. Therefore i think they need to work it out a bit more. Maybe even FW upgrade who knows

How are you finding them? I miss the Nari's bass but I like the clarity with the Kraken's.

I have the same issues with the charging LED. I plugged them in, flashing orange, and left them went to work etc, that evening still blinking orange. Plugged them into synapse to check and showed fully charged

hmm mine was showing not quite fully charged, it was like few pixels bellow.
Anyway overall it sounds way better than my Nari ultimate. These drivers are really well tuned and i did not even touched the EQ which i want to try to do some normalization with help of brown noise.
Also to mention, i reported these 3 issues to a case and online support, volume inbalance, charging issues, and also connectivity which randomly does not work like synapse recognition etc. Sadly they started RMA due to charging and volume issues and the guy ordered new headset for me. I thought it will be just question of FW or SW update. So now i am waiting for the process and mail communication whats next.
I thought it sounded like a software issue more than anything.
I've contacted them aswell now but being New Year's Day I'm not expecting a response yet.

So today i got my RMA number, also sent back the headphones. Looks like in 2 days it should arrive to them and then 3-5 days until they decide whats next. But as we are not alone with issues, i am affraid that even new pair that they gonna send will be faulty as well.
v3 pro here too, same issue with the volume in the left earcup
I'm still in the tech support limbo ("have you tried turning it off and on") ...

Do you also have problems with the haptic motors ringing at certain frequencies ?
Roughly below 400/200 hz depending on the intensity and the volume

I did not have any haptic engine issues "luckily" lol. I am worried that if i get replaced device then this issue comes to a picture 😃 even though rest will be fixed for example.
I'm currently going through the motions of tech support. They've asked for a video of the problem, I suppose I can only do what i can do with that as filming it is going to be a bit difficult.

I haven't noticed any issues with the haptics on mine, I think the sensitivity is a bit spotty sometimes, but I'm kind of putting that down to them processing the sound then applying the feedback as apposed to it all being one process.

Thats really sad to hear that you have such issues with tech support. In my case I'm glad it went smooth, but hopefully it will finish also smoothly.

Tech support has been good to be fair, I understand that it's following a process to identify the issue and get to the right resolution.

Have you had your new headset yet?
Interested to know if a replacement is better

Sadly not yet, still waiting for them to process the delivery from their warehouse so the can send me new one, after reading all the issues across the internet I'm now afraid that it won't help at all. And I will be stuck with useless not working 210€ worth paperweight as return period will expire before they cam process it, well played by them I guess.
I'm curious how this works out for you guys. Just received mine and I don't think I can detect any imbalance. Maybe a small amount around 85 percent volume but it seems to dissapear with time. This is on PC though.

volume imbalance is least of the issues, as it can be workaround with setting the volume to static value where you cannot hear it as it appears somewhere between 50%-75% so anything around it works fine and then you can set the volume via SW

Any news on yours Dino? I've got to RMA stage now aswell. Waiting to hear from the warranty team

Fingers crossed you don't have it mate! I've tried mine on pc aswell and it's there for me, music and stereo sound it's minimal, but games especially with 3d audio its quite uncomfortable. I'm getting alot of crackle now with voices in voicepartys and stuff so I'm glad their RMA'ing thm

Thanks! I have only been using it for some music and netflix watching so I will definitely keep an eye on the imbalance. So far I seem to have 3 major issues with the headset.
1) Battery not fulling charging - or at least not showing fully charged in synapse or on the headset
2) Volume imbalance
3) Haptics going weird regulalry when changing settings. This requires a power cycle to get them working again.

I'm hoping all 3 can be fixed via firmware but would definitely like to hear how your RMA set is.

Hi guys, my RMA went okay. Well till the point where they sent the new unit. Its now stuck somewhere in china for no reason 5 days already. This way im gonna miss the returning period. As if in case new unit is bad also, i wanted to return it completely and either wait for the update or go for different brand which i would like to avoid as my peripheral set is build completely from razer stuff.

Sorry to hear that man! I've still yet to hear from the warranty team since they escalated it Saturday. I dunno what to do if they aren't any good this time. Maybe a set of kaira pros instead :s but I was drawn to the Kraken's for the haptics in wired mode, there's no wired at all on kaira's

Hopefully you will have it faster than me 😃 I dont know either, i would love to keep them but i dont want to be stuck with not properly working paperweight that cost me 210 euro.
Anyone have issues with the power saving mode? I have mine set to turn off after 15 minutes of activity and I cannot get it to work.

I will try to test it once my new arrive after RMA. It is still stuck in china Lantau island, reason fedex gave me that it is waiting along with others for some free transport so it can arrive to me. I dont know whats different as during holidays it was no problem at all, and now due to this i will miss returning period and i am affraid i will be unable to refund them if the issue is not solved by RMA. Gonna be stuck with 210 euro paperweight

Got my RMA today finished and delivered.... it did not solve anything. I highly suspect it is a problem of FW in terms of charging issues, maybe also the poor audio balance. Also you are right, about the power saving feature, headset wont turn off. I guess another issue for Synapse

Yesterday i received new RMA number with return and refund luckily, therefore they send label to somewhere in Netherlands. Today i received new email with apology that it was directed to wrong warehouse and they sent new label to send it somewhere in Singapore surprisingly. So hopefully its okay now, luckily the time they were sending it was almost night for me 😃
I use the Movie option for EQ and it’s solid overall for all uses, THX spatial for games and movies, stereo for audio. Mid range bass. Really enjoying the headset once I tuned everything. Make sure to select Synapse Spatial as default audio and have the Game/chat balance all the way to Game if you are not using your Mic.
