Kraken X when using 7.1 people can hear everything?

Bought the newer Kraken X headset. Installed the 7.1 surround sound programme.

When using Discord, other users are telling me they can hear everything I am playing or any music I am listening to.

I lowered the volume on the headset to minimum and played music and checked input sensitivity on Discord and it is jumping in time with whatever I am playing even when I can barely hear it.

I tried a new splitter but same issue.

I did fix it by uninstalling the 7.1 surround sound programme. However this means I cannot have 7.1 operating.

Is there any fix for this?

I have exactly the same issue !!!
Getting back to you, I never resolved it. The best I could do was uninstall the 7.1 software and then alter my Windows 10 sound settings and discord settings to a happy medium, where if there was some feedback it was minimal. Eventually whilst I was gaming, the headset just snapped in half whilst on my head. I went back to my old $12 headset and now my friends are telling me the $12 headset sounds way better. Personally I won't be buying Kraken again.
Dear, I am working on it for 2 days... I have reinstalled and upgraded to latest version of Realtek soundcard driver as well. Nothing worked.

I have manually solved it this way ;
I have plugged Razer headphones and mic to back side of pc case (directly to sound card slot). And plugged other device (main speakers) to front panel as headphones. And separated each other as individual devices in Realtek sound card interface.
Then, matched Razer surround 7.1 application with Razer headphones.
Now it works fine so far. I have tested in Black Ops-Cold War. I think it works and sounds accurate to me.
Try it and let me know if its suitable for your situation.

Berkay.
