I have a Deathadder Chroma atm and am thinking about upgrading to either the Lancehead TE or Deathadder Elite. I've seen they have the same sensor, but have right-handed people gone from a Deathadder form factor to the ambidextrous form factor of the Lancehead? That's mainly what I'm scared about with the Lancehead. I mainly play FPS games, if that would differ anyone's opinion.

if you are already used to the DA id stick with that shape. an ambidextrous mouse should still feel fine, you would have to adjust your grip a little bit. think more curve and grip strength coming from your ring finger due to the LH's thinner body. i switch b/w a DA Chroma for fps' and a steel series sensei for rts' and regular use. both are good for palm grip, the latter is easier claw/fingertip grip. and both DAE and LHTE have optical sensors which are better for fps' vs laser sensors imo, so no going wrong there. if you are mostly a palm gripper, i say DA E all the way.

If you are used to the Deadadder, You may be better off getting the Deathadder Elite. The Lancehead does have some more lighting that the Deathadder Elite doesn't have, if you care about that, The Lancehead also comes with the new Synapse Early beta when it comes out, So that's another thing if you really care about that.
The Deathadder elite is more cheap too, If you are worried about price in any way.

Depends on grip style. Deathadder elite is more suited for palm grip and Lancehead is better for claw. You could get them both for pretty cheap (Razer paid to play system). Just see if you can try them in a store.

There have been a dozen topics in the forums already, but since I am already replying.

I have had 3 different Deathadders and now I have a Lancehead, and Lancehead definitely is better, and universal in terms of grip. My only complaint is teaching my pinky how to use the extra 2 buttons on right side, but even without those buttons I would have bought this mouse.
